my spring 2026 dance for @riderdanceensemble. what a pleasure it was to get the opportunity to create such a fun and energetic piece once again! Taking on the challenge to create another piece for RDE has been such an amazing experience and I couldn’t have done it again without my fierce cast: Emma, Laney, Gianna, Lauren and my two fabulous seniors, Milaina and Emily! Without their dedication and support this semester, this dance wouldn’t have been possible! Starting out having our rehearsals in the BLC lobby to ending here on this stage, I am BEYOND HAPPY with how this dance turned out! It makes my heart so happy to have had you all in my dance and you all hold such a special place in my heart! Thank you again @riderdanceensemble for giving me the space to choreograph a dance of my own! Now enjoy my dance “Womanizer”!!

My first ever fall semester dance for RDE! Where do I even begin. Never in a million years did I think I would choreograph my own dance or even have the desire to. This semester not only did I take on the challenge to choreograph a dance, but I also served as vice president for @riderdanceensemble!! I didn’t know if I wanted to continue dancing going into college, but after joining RDE as a little freshman, I immediately realized this is where I was meant to be. I am beyond grateful for the amazing friends I have made along the way and the lasting memories RDE has gave me this far! Getting to call all these amazing people my friends is the most amazing thing ever! Thank you to everyone in RDE for allowing me to serve as vice president alongside my partner in crime @iamiankent (just wait until next semester’s post 🫣) I can’t wait for what next semester brings for us!

I knew choreographing for the first time was going to be a challenge for me since I have never had the opportunity to choreograph, but that all changed this semester. Through all the highs and lows this semester brought me, I am so grateful to have had this opportunity! I will continue to say it over and over again but I am incredibly grateful for my amazing cast: Laney, Emma, Jules, Gianna and Lauren. Without their hard work and support, I would’ve not been able to create this fun dance of my own! Thank you for making my first choreographing experience one that I will never forget! I am BEYOND HAPPY with how this dance turned out! It makes my heart so happy to have had you all in my dance and you all hold such a special place in my heart! Now enjoy my dance “Telephone”!! ☎️ (and yes the actual telephone was much needed)
