💔🙏🏿 I Have So Many Good Memories At The Cap...
From @channel4news French authorities have ordered the total evacuation of the Cap Ferret peninsula, a popular tourism site on the Atlantic Coast, as wildfires across Europe continue to rage.
Authorities said they have sent boats to remove people from an area threatened by a major wildfire.

It comes as the Spanish government on Thursday night declared a national emergency, after a series of wildfires threatened communities near Madrid and in the neighbouring province of Avila, forcing more than 10,000 people to evacuate as firefighters struggled to contain the blazes.

Wildfires are becoming more frequent, more intense and lasting longer, particularly in Europe due to climate change.

Hangin’ on a String (Contemplating)” is the seventh single by British soul band Loose Ends from their second studio album, So Where Are You?, and was released in February 1985 by Virgin Records. In the group’s native UK, the single made the top twenty. Outside the UK, the single went to number one on the US Billboard R&B chart for one week. #Majorness With The Boss 😍❤️🔥 From @houseofgangstersaysrelax 43 years ago today! Miss @dianaross gave two legendary free concerts in New York's Central Park on July 21 and 22, 1983, for an audience estimated at between 400,000 and 800,000 people.
Originally, only one concert was planned, with proceeds set to fund the Diana Ross Playground in Central Park. But when a violent thunderstorm forced the first show to end early, Ross famously returned the following day and performed a second free concert. The storm destroyed all of the merchandise, the events ultimately failed to turn a profit, and Ross personally financed the playground herself.
Here she performs Muscles (US #10, UK #15), written and produced by Michael Jackson, from her 1982 album Silk Electric (US #27, UK #33).
