Eclipse ‘26 🌒 - Got more than we bargained for with an epic sunset/sunrise, stumbled across a meteor shower, a couple of UFO’s and the Milky Way even came out to play. Great way to spend a school night.

Anything resembling a decent pic was captured by the magician @jonasreust 📸

I’d put my 10,000 hours in- drinking pints, watching footy, chatting shit, and sleeping in grimy hostels. We had 28 years to prepare for this since our last World Cup, and it did not disappoint one bit (apart from the inept footballing ability part).

Mexico 🇲🇽 > Boston > Texas > Miami 🇺🇸

The trip of a lifetime with the boys, and got to witness the very best of humanity, pure joy, kindness, laughter, and acceptance everywhere we went!

What we clearly lacked in quality on the pitch, we more than made up for off it. Reminding the world what it looks like not to take yourself too seriously: embracing strangers, singing, dancing, balancing cones on anything with a open top, and making friends in the streets and bars of Boston and Miami whilst we were at it. Memories that’ll stay with me forever!

Bursting with pride to be Scottish, and already counting down the four years until the next inevitable group stage exit…

Ironman 70.3- Antalya 🇹🇷

Booking expensive races in exotic places and kidding on that I’m an athlete ✅

It’s easy to feel intimidated at these sorts of races when you see everyone rocking up with all the top of the range gear looking pretty fucking shredded while your sat on a shite tourist rent a bike, rocking some spaghetti arms. You start to doubt yourself and feel even more unprepared (I was in fact impressively unprepared) but I realised during the struggle (around 8k of the run is the sweet spot) to stop underestimating yourself, you are wayyyy more capable than you think and you’re always going to feel unprepared so just get that fucking thing done!

Goal was to make it a PB in under 6 hours and finished it 5:59:38 with 22 seconds to spare to head straight to the bar for a beerio 🍻
