Still floating. :) 1. Summer nights underway. 2. Watchkeeping. 3. West Palm views… where it all started three years ago. 4. Yet another flight. 5. Enjoying the ride instead of catching up on sleep. 6. Yachtmaster. ✓ 7. Bunkering… again. (That boat burned fuel like it was drinking Aperols in the summer sun.) 8. Mood. by @gidokrom
Had the absolute best time at the 78th Cannes Film Festival. Cannes is one of the few places where both my professions crossover. The Cannes Film Festival, a week long of glamour, a lot of networking, workshops, keynotes, watching movies and seeing my favorite actress in real life (Jlaw on the last slide 🥹) is a huge contrast to the humbling reality of walking the docks looking for a position or washing down a yacht during the Mediterranean yachting season in the ports of Cannes (yachting really isn’t always that glamorous, trust me). Staying in Antibes which I consider my second home during the festival and getting to see both my yachting housemates and then walking the Croisette with my best friend and fellow filmmakers is an experience I will never forget. So here is my Cannes photo dump 35mm film edition🎞️ See you all next year! #cannesfilmfestival #cannes2025 #78th by @gidokrom
‘Hey Gido, we need someone to drive a car from Amsterdam to Venice. We need it tomorrow, are you in?’ So I drove a car to Venice and read a book next to the canal. Not your everyday activities, I normally never read books. by @gidokrom
Monaco Grand Prix ‘24. 🏎️ Thanks to the amazing @lisabirb who invited me to go with her to the free practices on Friday, I finally got to see this iconic track in action. #MonacoGP #F1 @f1 #Formula1 by @gidokrom
