THIS NIGHT was truly monumental at Wale’s 2nd Annual Gifted Week: STATE OF BLACK MEDIA panel presented by WALE & EQT, powered by @hq.dc.house & @wabjdc

Thank you, @Wale, for opening a door into a field that hasn’t always been kind to you, yet you still chose to see value in our voices. You reminded us why Black Media matters, and that many of us are responsible, intentional, and committed to the craft.
Moments like this affirm the power of community, representation, and truth-telling.

Tap in and get the new album “Everything Is A Lot” now & congratulations to Wale on being ranked Billboard’s Best Hip Hop Albums of the Year 🏆 by @gifted_dmv

Everything is Alot (Extended Cut)

@wale is one of the few rappers that I’ve always found a way to relate to, by way of where we’re from, where we’re based, down to how we criticize ourselves lol…and album 🎱 is no different for me. I’ve only listened a couple times so far, while editing these photos, but Power & Problems is an immediate favorite, followed by Survive (why didn’t this end the album?🧐😂)

@jefe LA Introduction STILL goes

Also @curlyheadedblackboy is an incredible performer bro I was not expecting that

Always, TY for having me 🌙

Yesterday was a GOOD one♥️♥️

Our kids got to step into the sneaker design world with @wale and @gifted_dmv sketching, painting, and bringing their own ideas to life on a pair of kicks. 👟🎨

Thank you, Wale and the Gifted team, for giving our students a fun, creative, and exciting space to dream bigger and try something new. This is what GOOD memories are made of. ✨
