People! These flyers and business promos all look the same and it’s not a good look! Maybe ya’ll meant well, but a part of the problem is you are using Canva and you may not realize that Canva uses a ton of AI images !
I rather see an authentic piece of art /collage/illustration/ graphic design than these janky, repetitive images. How will you stand out as a promoter, event, or business when everyone’s promos/biz cards look the same?
I would rather educate people more on why AI sucks and not just attack them for using it, unless of course, they’re being dicks about it , then fuck ‘em! 🤣🤣🤣

My patience has paid off, those are my crow friends. I bought a crow call a few months ago but I’ve been feeding them for awhile now. They love scrambled or boiled eggs, both with the shell, cashews , unsalted peanuts in the shell, and cat kibble. I always give them fresh water too. The coolest thing is now they come when I use my crow call. It’s like a dinner bell .
I love how I’m surround by all kinds of little creatures, I’m never alone 🖤
I had to include some pics of my fit and beat ( make up for the uninitiated). Also, I absolutely love pussybow tops. My son bought me the beautiful bat handbag from Killstar. He knows I love bats 🦇🖤

I made a day of it in the Marigny today. After the fabric store, I went to the grand opening of @goodkarmanola ! A new Indian restaurant in the @st.rochmarket . I invited my daughter and her boyfriend to join me, we had the menu sampler plate. We enjoyed a mango lassi, naan, basmati rice, samosas, butter chicken, palak paneer and galab jaman with vanilla ice cream, all for $20! It was such a lovely meal! Be sure to visit them!!!

I went to the opening of @faubourgfabrics today! I’m so excited about this new fabric and trimmings shop! More fun black work, I really enjoy this style. My client brought me this artwork and I love insects so I was all in. This piece is about 80 percent healed. I took the video in natural light so you could see the little details and saturation better because I suck at taking photos of my tattoo work with artificial light. I’m also going to make an effort of posting more of the pieces I’ve done recently and am currently working on. For now, I’m sharing these cool black work insects 🖤 thank you for looking

Here lies the real question.
Everyone bitching about how much they hate AI slop but what are you doing to support the human artists that surround you? The living artists creating art that struggle everyday but still create? It’s very easy to be on your moral high horse to complain about what’s wrong, but are you making any efforts to do what’s right? That, believe it or not, is easy to do too. Buying the art and investing in the artist if you are financially able to, sharing the posts, liking and engaging. Make an effort to go the small obscure opening, not just the established galleries, buy the little painting at the coffee shop, the handmade card, this is how you support art made by humans. Small efforts do make a big difference.

No need for an AI generated 80’s pic- I was there. I was a baby then, maybe 14 or 15. This was at a party ( I believe every Friday or Saturday) thrown in a loft/work space off of Halsted /18th street in Chicago. I would sell my paintings there , spray paint and left over house paint on Masonite board, sometimes through auction or straight off the wall. You would pay at the door, no id’s needed, enter a packed “club” and dance your ass off all night to fantastic young dj’s playing everything from Chicago house to Bauhaus. It was such an amazing time filled with art, music, fun fashion, friends and Boonesfarm infused teen drama!
