Getting the chance to dance alongside @ghettokids_tfug was one of the greatest gifts of this journey! 🫶🏽✨
Beyond their unbelievable talent, they are some of the kindest, most joyful, and genuinely grateful people I have ever met. Their energy, resilience, and appreciation in everything was inspiring and infectious. Not to mention, witnessing the absolute joy they have while they are dancing reminded me why I fell in love with dance in the first place 🥺
It was such an honor to work alongside them and their amazing choreographer, @namataesther✨The greatest performances aren’t just about what happens on stage, they’re about the people you share them with.

Thank you @meninafortunato and @thebizofdance for mentoring me through this process and introducing me to @enola.bedard 🩷 Who would have thought that @shakira would have seen that video and we would be in the first FIFA halftime performance in history 🫶🏽 This opportunity wouldn’t have happened without you guys and I appreciate you both so much!! ✨

I’m still on cloud nine and feel like this whole experience was a dream 🥺 ALL the glory to GOD 🙏🏽

It was an honor to get the opportunity to learn from so many amazing choreographers and creative directors that I have looked up to my whole life: @charmladonna @chrisgranted @kany16 and @maitonamarcos 🙌🏽 The creative process was truly my favorite part✨

I can’t say thank you enough to @shakira and her incredible team for giving me the opportunity to shine on one of the biggest halftime shows in history! 🥹 None of this would have happened without @enola.bedard and her Dai Dai concept video 🫶🏽 Who would have thought that a video on the Santa Monica Pier would have got us here performing with @shakira @bts.bighitofficial @madonna @lilbieber @themuppets and @sesamestreet 🙌🏽

The dance challenge that changed everything. 🌎⚽️

@enola.bedard’s “Dai Dai” Dance Challenge video, featuring four of my visiting @thebizofdance mentees, was selected by @shakira.

Just days later, Eseniia’s video was selected too.

Both @enola.bedard and @esenya_miss have also been guests on the @thebizofdance Podcast, and both of their stories are powerful reminders of how quickly one opportunity can change your life.

Enola created her concept video at the Santa Monica Pier and invited my mentees @dylandileodance, @ella.waitz, @gigihardison and @abbybeckley to dance alongside her.

She posted the video, tagged @shakira and got her attention.

That one video ultimately took Enola, Dylan, Ella, Gianna and Abby from dancing at the Santa Monica Pier to performing “Dai Dai” with Shakira and Burna Boy during the first ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show.

Eseniia also holds such a special place in my heart. I met her last summer, helped connect her with her first dance agent and later welcomed her and her parents onto the @thebizofdance Podcast.

Now here they are backstage after the show: @enola.bedard, @esenya_miss, @dylandileodance, @ella.waitz, @gigihardison and @abbybeckley, doing the dance that started it all after performing on one of the biggest stages in the world.

This is the power of putting yourself out there.

The power of relationships.

The power of saying yes.

The power of one video.

You truly never know who is watching.
