Productivity. When we hear this word, we probably have images pop up in our mind of people working at a desk in a high stress environment or running on treadmills. What we neglect to associate with the word ‘productivity’ is meditation, reflection, or allocating time to soothe the mind and engage in self care. Humans simply cannot be productive without down time or 7 to 9 hours sleep. So when you’re allocating time in your day to cook a healthy meal from scratch or getting an extra hour of sleep, just remember, that is being productive 😊🤍

Sustainability ~ A term often linked with the principle of intergenerational equity, the concept that the Earth is common to all of humankind; generations, past, present and future and should therefore be protected for the enjoyment of future generations to come 🌱🌎

Achieving sustainability requires all of humankind to address the global issues that we face including poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice.

What do you think of when you hear the term ‘Sustainability’?
