![1. I donāt just use Claudeās knowledge. I choose a perspective, e.g. āwhat would [expert name] do?ā
2. I donāt accept long answers. I say ādonāt explainā or ābe conciseā if I need a simple answer.
3. I donāt ask Claude a question without [specific context], [specific goal] and [specific constraint].
4. I donāt accept vague answers. I prompt: ābe specific and give TANGIBLE examplesā.
5. I donāt expect Claude to read my mind. I prompt: āHereās a [specific example] I like because of [reason]ā.
6. I donāt accept Claudeās output without applying my own judgement. āWould I say this?ā āDo I agree?ā āIs this relevant to my market, brand or customer?ā
7. For important details I say: āCan you double check this for anything we missed or could add for [insert goal outcome]?ā
8. I donāt ask Claude how to achieve [X goal] without first being honest with myself about why I havenāt achieved it yet.
9. I donāt let Claude create ideas for me. I use it to refine and optimise them for relevance.
10. I donāt use Claude to add options. I use it to eliminate options.
11. I donāt use Claude to think for me. I say: āHereās my thinking, where is it weak, inefficient or incomplete for [goal]?ā
12. I donāt share an idea without ābe honest, not biased, and consider the cons for [goal]ā.
13. I donāt risk error. I add: ābefore we start, do you have any questions for me to help with a better answer?ā
14. I donāt waste time typing, I use voice dictation in the chat (NOT the voice conversation mode).
15. I donāt assume Claude saves me time just because itās fast. I look for leverage, e.g. automating or eliminating tasks.
16. I donāt start a new chat for every input. I use Projects to compartmentalise topics.
17. I stop using it as soon as my brain fatigues and shuts off critical thinking skills.
18. I donāt doubt MYSELF if Claude doesnāt agree. Sometimes we have a vision and do know best.
