We’re looking for a musician who can do more than play. The right candidate should be able to curate weekly worship music, teach material to the praise team/choir, and help support the overall musical direction of the service.

💰 The biggest check many independent artists never ask for… is the FIRST USE FEE.

Too many artists spend hours creating a record, negotiate royalties, and celebrate placements without realizing the initial use of their music can often be negotiated separately.

A first use fee is a one-time payment for the initial license to use your song in a commercial, film, TV show, video game, advertisement, or other production. It’s typically paid before royalties are ever generated.

Don’t make the mistake of thinking royalties are the only money on the table.

📌 Before you say “yes” to licensing your music, ask:
• Is there a first use fee?
• What are the sync terms?
• Are backend royalties included?
• Who owns the publishing?

Knowledge is leverage. The artists who understand the business side of music are the ones who build lasting careers.
