what an experience this was! first off, a HUGE thank you to @thedelondotcom for his incredible direction and for allowing me the space to grow as an artist. And to @ramone_deshon for always reminding us of the importance of the work that we do. I truly am so blessed and humbled to have been able to work with two incredibly talented and passionate artists who have given me so much love as a black queer artist. I cannot express how much this role, this show, and this opportunity meant to me. 🫶🏾

To also be able to play this role alongside such a hilarious and dedicated cast is something I could never imagine. I am in tears writing this because the work that was displayed on that stage was truly just so inspiring. I am so happy to be able to make art with such incredibly talented artists everyday!

Gratitude isn’t even the word, I am so eternally grateful for an experience that was so profoundly meaningful in my life. Thank you to everyone who has given me a kind comment about the show you don’t know how much it truly means to me. AHHHHHH!! 🥹❤️

i can’t put into words how incredible this experience has been. to be able to perform alongside this incredible cast has given me nothing but joy and i am overcome with immense gratitude and love.

to @mel_the_bardbarian, it has been more than a blessing being able to work alongside you. I can’t believe you’ve music directed me on the same stage we were able to share. I am eternally greatful to all of your words of advice and your support through this process. you’ve truly shaped me as an artist and always pushed me to be better than i am. i’m missing heaven’s light already!! thank you forever and always ❤️‍🔥

to @anelizem, you have been such an inspiration throughout this process. working with you pushed me to think deeply about my movements on stage and also to think deeply about who we were as gargoyles. you held us together in more ways than you know and i am once again eternally greatful to have done this with you. all of our little moments on stage made my heart so warm. thank you for being so incredible always. ❤️‍🔥

to sally and zoe, thank you for entrusting anne, mel, and i with this fabulous, once in a lifetime opportunity. this interpretation of the show, the gargoyles, the freedom, collaboration, and originality is something i will never get over.

to the cast and crew, you all saw me cry trying to say my favorite moment during our pre-show. I have so much love for all of you. you’ve touched my heart and my soul in more ways than you know. I’ve grown so much in this experience because of all of you. this show was so special because of all of you. I will never forget this experience. thank you 🥹❤️‍🔥

and finally to the company theatre and its patrons, thank you for always giving me so much love and kindness. the community that this theatre brings is truly one of the main reasons why i am always back. you have all been my backbone and have given me confidence on days where i felt low. i can’t explain the gratitude i have for the love i’ve recieved all these years but all i can say is thank you thank you thank you!!!
