Lost Vietnam War (1968) photo slides
.
The original photographer was a U.S. Marine serving at Chu-Lai, Vietnam in 1968. I picked up a lot of photo slides that were found in an abandoned storage unit. I had them scanned.
.
The box they came in was labeled: “VMA-(AW) 533. Chu-Lai, Vietnam - 1968”. This was a U.S. Marine All-Weather Attack Squadron. These men were flying combat missions over Vietnam between 1967 & 1969.
.
The photographer labeled most of them by hand:
1. “Officers Club Burns Down - Atsugi, Japan 1964”

2. (unlabeled)

3. “Roommate at Chu-Lai, Vietnam - 1968”

4. (unlabeled)

5. “Blind Torture - USO Show, Chu-Lai ’68”

6. (unlabeled)

7. “Sunset on the Beach at Chu-Lai, Vietnam - 1968”

8. (unlabeled)

9. “Floor Show, Chu-Lai, Vietnam - 1968”

10. (unlabeled)

11. “On the Wings of a Dove! - USO Show, Chu-Lai 1968”

12. (unlabeled)

13. “Viet Kid Playing in Wash Machine - Chu-Lai Run ’68”

14. (unlabeled)

15. (unlabeled)

16. “Pete Wilcoxen - Chu-Lai, MAG-12, Vietnam ’68”

17. “Floor Show, Chu-Lai, Vietnam - 1968”

18. (unlabeled)

19. “O Club Fire - Atsugi, Japan 1964 - MAG-11”

20. “How Much Do I Weigh? - USO Show, Chu-Lai ’68” (left) / “USO Show, Chu-Lai 1968” (right) taken in Chu Lai, Quang Nam-Da Nang, Vietnam by @gilbertsclips
