The more we grow together, the more people are inevitably going to starve for the destruction of not only what we’re building, but my peace.

I’m prank called multiple times a week, I’ve had people driving by me yelling and mocking me, I’ve had people make fake Instagram accounts to “tease me” or whatever term you’d use to describe it when it’s not a middle schooler and it’s someone over the age of 20 doing it 💀😭

It’s something I’ve experienced my whole life and it would be silly of me to expect anything less when I’m publicly building confidently in the way that I am. It’s beyond predictable and I can guarantee you that it won’t stop and may even get worse as time goes on.

I choose not to work towards ending ridicule or criticism or to get everyone to approve of what we’re building and the more it pisses them off, the better a job I’m doing.

As long as they’re feeling something, I win.

Let ‘em call.
Let ‘em yell for a quick chuckle from their friends driving.

Because no matter how loudly they scream and mock,
it changes nothing.

There’s a part of you that knows you’re meant to do more. A piece of you that whispers and sometimes even screams at you while you’re trying to sleep when it’s telling you you’re playing it small. Take it from me when I tell you that through even the worst possible scenarios you decide to use as excuses for not taking the leap, you’d make it through regardless. The only person who can actually make you start is you. You’re stronger and more capable than you know and before you know it, it’ll all be over so you might as well make it YOURS.

I believe in you and I’m with you through it all.

That’s the spirit of The Gilder Era.

Your Friend,

When people put you in a box for a certain amount of time, they can’t bear it when you succeed. When people viewed you as a loser, it enrages them when you start to win. Most people don’t want you to succeed, let alone do better than them. Sometimes, even the closest people to you that hype you up to your face are secretly hoping you fail behind your back. In the past few months alone, I’ve had people I went to high school years ago and people from my hometown that I haven’t spoken to in years prank call me and add me into group chats with my videos being shared more times than I could count. Many people are spineless and once you start proving them wrong, all they have is to mock you, to laugh at you, and get whatever little digs in that they can. Be the person who roots for the ones posting on social media. Be the person who cheers on the people who feel small. You’re stronger than you know and if you truly want to be someone great and believe in your heart that you’re meant to, you must push through the noise.

Let them laugh.
Let them point.
Let them mock.

Because while you grow
While you build
They watch.

I believe in you, friend.

Welcome to The Gilder Era.
