Well, what a truly eventful last year in my 50s! We have been to many great places and met many many true friends for fun and frolics.
I've played some music, I've played some rugby, I've met a whole load of great new people in both fields.
Angie and the family just seem to continually surpass my wildest dreams and expectations.
This year has been extra special as Angie and I have been together for 41 years! Lucia has turned 40! And I have slipped into geriatric status!
Even at 60 you never stop learning about the human race, mostly good but, of course, not always, people will always surprise you even those who declare peace and love can surprise you.
Thank you all so much for your love and friendship, especially Angie, Lucia, Georgia, Jordan, all the grand kids and in-laws, all at Woodford Woodford rugby club, my band, my Essex rugby over 50s pals, all the great people in our lives collectively make this a wonderful life.
Giles (60) 😘

"So I chose to play the blues in a seven piece band, first night nerves every one night stand, what a waste, what a waste, rock n roll don't mind".
'REDEYE' reinvented 28 years later.
Massive thanks to all who supported us on our inaugural performance in the sunshine last Saturday afternoon, so lovely to be able to play a daytime gig and have the wee people come to watch pappy behaving badly!
Many thanks to; John (bass), Matt (drums), Mick (vocals) Ed (keyboards), Jimmy (lead guitar), Barry (rhythm guitar).
Peace and love brothers and sisters peace and love. X taken in Jubilee Hub Saffron Walden by @gilesmsf

Essex Supervets (over 50's) rugby,
Much fun had by all on another outing for the lads.
I'm proud to be a part of this spirited bunch who share no small amount of talent and a passion for rugby unmatched.

What a day! 100 years of rugby celebeated in the best way possible, endless rugby in the sunshine with all my brothers at woodford rugby club. Difficult to express what it meant to play with 'the family' again, rolled back 25+ years in the blink of an eye.
The bodies may be older but the spirit is as ztrong as ever.
