As we honor the life of my grandfather the word that comes to mind is redemption. In recent years my grandfather gave his life to Christ and I watch God completely transform his life. I saw how God can completely redeem and transform a persons life. When telling his many adventures of being in the marines and wild cowboy days of his youth he would always tell me “son God saved your Grandad FOREAL 👀😅😂”. Just about a year ago I went to a small town in Tennessee to visit and sit with him for the first time in my life and it was like learning a side of myself that I didn’t know. We had so much in common and I learned so much and the hilarious memories from that weekend that I will always cherish. The main thing I learned is it truly doesn’t matter where you start but matters most where you end and Grandad you ended up exactly where you belong in the arms of your loving savior. I am honored to be your grandson and look forward to continuing sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ as you would always encourage me to do. Love you Grandad until we meet again 🫡💪🏾🙏🏾. by @gill_finley

I had such an amazing time at the @theblackmba Pivot Conference and Business Expo. It was refreshing and inspiring to be around like minded professionals connecting and networking and being in an environment that provided meaningful opportunities and resources to many people across the country. I’m glad to have represented my home chapter @kynbmbaa and look forward to the bright future ahead. Congrats to @nbmbaasofla for a wonderfully executed conference. I am looking forward to #Ascend at next year’s conference! #nbmbaa taken in Los Angeles, California by @gill_finley
