We are lucky to have a very large senior department here at Gillham. They are always on hand to help nurture and inspire our younger dancers! As many of you know, Miss Megan will soon be starting her maternity leave and we are so excited for her as she begins this new chapter.Whilst we will all miss her hugely on Saturdays, I’m really pleased to let you know that Miss Sam will be joining the Saturday faculty moving forward.Many of you will already know Sam, as she has been part of the GSPA family for over 15 years as our Show Manager and has played a huge role behind the scenes of so many productions over the years.Sam also brings with her over 30 years of dance teaching experience, specialising in tap, alongside an incredible track record for exam students in previous teaching settings. Alongside teaching, she has worked as Assistant Choreographer and Production Manager across many local theatre productions and is also part of the production team for GYP Mini.She is so passionate about creating a positive, hardworking environment in class whilst making lessons high energy and engaging for the students, and I know she is going to be a fantastic addition to the teaching team.Over the coming weeks, Megan and Sam will be working closely together to ensure a smooth handover and consistency for the children. Sam will be teaching all the Saturday Tap classes, Big Adventures and assisting me with the Saturday Musical Theatre class. Our lovely Miss Evie continues as our student assistant.We always care deeply about making sure the right people are in front of our students and we are really excited for you all to get to know Miss Sam in this new role.Please join me in giving her a very warm welcome to the Gillham Faculty! by @gillhamperformingarts

We are excited to introduce to our faculty Rihana Ogborne who will be teaching with us from next week!Rihana trained professionally at Performers College, where she was fortunate enough to experience many incredible performance opportunities both during her training and after graduating. One of her career highlights includes performing as a backing dancer for Becky Hill at Wembley Stadium.Having grown up as a competitive dancer, Rihana has a real passion for developing young performers. Over the past seven years she has choreographed many award winning routines and has built an excellent reputation as a teacher. She now teaches across London and is committed to sharing her love of dance and inspiring the next generation.We know she is going to be a fantastic addition to the GSPA family and we are so excited for our students to learn from her! by @gillhamperformingarts

Welcoming Ariane Tighe to the team this week!Ariane grew up in Dublin, Ireland, where she trained from a young age in ballet, contemporary, jazz, and a variety of other styles. At 11, she was accepted into the Irish National Youth Ballet Company, where she trained and performed for nine years in numerous professional productions, including annual performances of The Nutcracker, and danced leading roles such as Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and the Snow Queen.At 17, she began full-time training at The College of Dance, Ireland, before making the move to London to study at Bird Conservatoire, where she graduated with an Honours Degree in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. She has since completed her Diploma in Dance Education for ISTD Ballet and is currently working towards her Modern Theatre qualification.Ariane has loved assisting at Gillham over the past year and is excited to begin teaching and sharing her passion for dance with our wonderful students! by @gillhamperformingarts
