NEXT WEEKEND - AUTUMN ART FAIR 2026

From 16-18th October, our Autumn Art Fair returns with over 70 stands of unique artwork to explore, for your home or collection! Meet the artists, learn the stories behind the work and walk home with a masterpiece…

(1-3) Gill Haynes @GillHaynesArt
Trained at the London School of Fine Art, Gill mostly paints Still Life compositions in oils and likes to explore the play of light on glass, metal and ceramics whilst always featuring items from the natural world such as fruit, flowers and fish.

(4-6) Sabina Adamska @tincture_studio
Tincture Studio is an art venture that I started this year. I focus mainly on characterful animal portraits and classical paintings with a modern colour palette.
I work primarily with oil paint using animals as social and symbolic subjects. In my recent work, I focus on a series devoted to utility birds, domesticated and working species that are often overlooked or treated as less worthy of attention.

(7-9)Jane Wilson @janewilsonartist
Jane is a process driven mixed-media artist based in Looe, Cornwall, whose vibrant, multi-layered paintings are deeply rooted in her background in textile design and the fashion industry. Her work explores interconnectivity through the interplay of layers, repeated motifs, colour and pattern; a direction that flourished during a creative pivot in 2020.

I’m lining up a few flower paintings for the Autumn Art Fair 16-18 October at the Landmark Arts Centre, Teddington. With the Richmond Arts Society summer show coming up fast, I’m trying to finish off recent work including this one. The show has free entry 10am-5pm Friday 12-Sunday 14 June at the Landmark Trust in Teddington. Its only a week away until our Summer Exhibition at The Landmark Arts Centre in June!
Opening night is Thursday 11th June and we would love to see you there. On show original paintings, prints, photography, sculpture, ceramics and cards with everything for sale. The artists will be there to answer questions and chat about their work too and we are all a friendly bunch, so come along and enjoy the evening with us!

I’m chuffed to have sold my Clementines and Glass Jar picture to Steve and Lindsey, a lovely local couple who spotted my painting in Sheen Kitchens and Interiors on the Sheen Art Trail. The Trail is still on until Saturday 2 May with over 30 Sheen artists exhibiting in local cafés and shops. It’s a pleasure to be exhibiting my oil paintings at the gorgeous Sheen Kitchens and Interiors showroom as part of the Sheen Art Trail, which has a free walking tour this Saturday (25th) of all 32 local businesses displaying Sheen Artists’ work. The walking tour starts at 11am at The Plough and there’s a reduction on drinks (and lunch afterwards) for participants. Come and see how much local creative talent can be found on your doorstep - there’s everything from paintings and drawings to ceramics and photography, and you can meet several of the artists too! @sheenartists @sheenarttrail_ @sheen_kitchens @eastsheenvillage by @gillhaynesart

Great curtain-raising for the Sheen Art Trail at the Hare & Hounds, with Mayor of Richmond Penny Frost and Sheen Artists Charlotte Hicks putting the trail on the map - and there are still two weeks to run of 35 artists exhibiting at local Sheen businesses. And it’s all free!

Sheen Kitchens & Interiors is ready to go for the launch of the Sheen Art Trail on Saturday 18 April - Manager Heidi has put up the Sheen Art Trail sticker and my seven oil paintings are all set up along with two other local artists. It’s a lovely space where it’s easy to imagine your next kitchen as well take a relaxed look at the artworks. The Sheen Art Trail will be officially opened by the Mayor of Richmond at the Hare and Hounds at noon on Saturday - hope to see you there!

MEET THE ARTIST - APRIL

It may be April fools day but this is no joke! Gill Haynes actually did paint these stunning artworks!

This month’s artist is Gill Haynes, a talented oil painter who is inspired by her everyday surroundings.

‘I’d kept an artistic toe in the water throughout (my career), nipping off to so many Life Drawing evening classes over the years that I could paper a room with my sketches of naked people.‘
