A beautiful opening evening for the Artischock Kunstverein Black & White Exhibition, set along the shores of Lake Zurich.

I’m delighted to be part of this impressive group exhibition, bringing together over 90 artists from Zurich and the surrounding region.

My Woven Earth Vessel, hand-coiled in black and white porcelain using the neriage technique, explores the delicate interplay of layers, texture and form—each coil contributing to its unique character.

A wonderful setting, beautifully curated, and a pleasure to share this exhibition with so many local artists. 🖤🤍 by @gillzimmermann

I’m delighted to be participating in the Artischock Black & White Exhibition, bringing together 86 artists from Zurich and its surrounding region.

My selected vessel, Woven Earth, is hand-coiled in black and white porcelain using the neriage technique. The work explores a delicate interplay of layers, pattern and texture, where each coil contributes to the vessel’s organic form and unique character.

The exhibition takes place along the shores of Lake Zurich at Kulturschüür, Alte Landstrasse 230, 8708 Männedorf.

17 September – 4 October 2026
Vernissage: 17 September, 18:00–20:00

I look forward to sharing Woven Earth alongside such a diverse gathering of local artists. taken in Männedorf, Switzerland by @gillzimmermann

My contemporary ceramic vessel, created as an exploration of form and presence, now resides in a traditional Swiss home. Chosen by an Interior designer it inhabits a quiet Zen corner. In this meeting of old and new, the vessel becomes more than an object.
