I'm sitting at the gate about to board a plane to LA. A year ago, I was just a girl writing a script, and now I'm flying across the globe!

Here's to normalising chasing your dreams. Scary? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely.

See you on the other side 🫶

Tomorrow I leave for LA.

It probably looks like an overnight success, but I wanted to share with you something quite personaI. This is about a time I experienced bullying and hazing while working as a junior costumer.

It was one set, out of many incredible productions I’ve had the honour of being a part of. I’ve met some of the kindest, most generous humans on film and television sets, and I’m so grateful that those experiences far outweigh the difficult ones.

But this experience broke me.

I know I’m not the only crew member who has experienced something like this. There are so many people who have quietly carried stories like these with them, wondering if they should say something, wondering if it was really bad enough, wondering if things will ever feel different.

So I’m sharing mine in the hope that if you see this and you’re going through something similar, you know you’re not alone.

You deserve to feel safe at work.
You deserve to be treated with kindness and respect.
You are enough.

Sometimes speaking up starts with simply knowing that someone else has been through what you've been through.

BIG NEWS for LUCKY SWEATER! 💗🔪

We’re thrilled to share that our film has been selected as a recipient of the Kickstarter Culture Fund, which supports independent creators across film, art, fashion, and music. As part of the program, Kickstarter has contributed $2,000 directly to our campaign! 🎉 This support brings us another huge step closer to our $20K goal and to bringing Love Is Murder from page to screen.

A huge thank you to @kickstarter for believing in us and to every single person who has backed, shared, posted, or told a friend about our campaign so far. 💕

We still have until October 25th to reach our goal, and every pledge counts. Help us keep the momentum going and bring Lucky Sweater to life!
