Meet our next Fleet Feet Wild Card recipient: Annelise Hull of Denton Guyer High School.

The Wild Card is a free entry to the Brooks XC Regional, and it’s not just a race bib. It’s how we spotlight the runners we think are must-watch this season: emerging talent with a shot at the next level, returners who’ve already put in the work, and athletes whose energy pulls the whole local running community in with them. Walker checked every one of those boxes for us.

Congrats, Annelise. We can’t wait to watch you compete at Regionals repping Denton. taken in Dallas-Fort Worth by @ginaggomez_

XC season starts with a run, not a rundown. Join us this Saturday, August 8 for the XC Long Run Gear Up at Fleet Feet Fort Worth.

🗓️ Saturday, August 8
📍 2600 W 7th St #159, Fort Worth, TX 76107
🕖 7:00–9:30 AM

Pick your distance, 3 or 6 miles, then stick around. Demo the latest from Brooks and Superfeet, grab giveaways from Balega, take 10% off your gear, and hang out for small bites and private shopping.

Then hear it straight from the panel. Sam and Nicole Humphries, current XC and track runners at the University of Oregon, and Natalie Cook, XC and track alumni from the University of Colorado, are joining us to talk about what it actually takes to have a strong season.

All paces welcome. Bring your team and come run with us. taken in Fort Worth, Texas by @ginaggomez_

XC season is almost here, and we’re getting teams ready with two gear up events across DFW.

First up, an XC Gear Up at Fleet Feet Preston Forest on Sunday, August 2 from 5 to 8 PM. Get fitted for your spikes, hang out for games and activities, and grab pizza and drinks on us. Try the latest socks from Balega on a buy-one-get-one offer, plus gifts with purchase while you shop.

Then on Saturday, August 8 from 7 to 9:30 AM, we’re in Fort Worth for an XC Long Run Gear Up. Choose a 3 or 6 mile long run from the store, then stay for small bites, private shopping, and giveaways from Balega. Demo the latest from Brooks and Superfeet, take 10% off your gear, and hear from a runners panel with collegiate-level athletes and a local experienced coach.

Bring your whole team. No RSVP needed, just show up ready to gear up for the season. taken in Dallas-Fort Worth by @ginaggomez_
