I’ve carried so much that no one will ever fully understand. The weight, the silence, the nights I kept breathing even when it felt impossible. I’ve held myself together in moments that should have broken me, and no one saw the way my hands were shaking while I kept standing. But I saw me. I felt every heartbeat that refused to stop.
I’ve been through darkness that tried to swallow me, and still, I became my own light. Not loud. Not perfect. Just steady. Just real. I’ve outgrown pain that once defined me. I’ve turned heartbreak into strength, loneliness into clarity, and fear into fire.
I look at myself now and I don’t see someone weak. I see someone who refused to disappear. Someone who kept moving when the world turned cold. Someone who didn’t wait to be saved — I became my own safe place.
I’m proud of me. Not for being untouchable, but for being soft and strong at the same time. For feeling everything so deeply and still choosing to rise. This heart of mine has been through hell and still beats with hope. That’s power. That’s beauty. That’s me. by @ginas_galley
