🎆 São João – Porto 2026 🎆I still can’t believe we ACCIDENTALLY ended up in Porto for the biggest party of the year (even bigger than New Year’s Eve!!). 🤣What an absolutely magical night and experience it was to witness how Portugal celebrates São João / Saint John‘s Day, with all its old and new traditions. Glowing sky lanterns, squeaking plastic hammers, smelly garlic flowers, yummy sardines and bifanas (according to @sj_no_idea), music, fireworks – and simply everyone out on the streets celebrating together. From young people to families and the elderly.Be kind. Then good things happen to you.And… go travelling. Because the more people, cultures and places you experience, the harder it becomes to fear differences - and the easier it becomes to appreciate how beautiful diversity is.Obrigada, Porto. March 26 in 15 pics. 💫Last weeks in Joburg. Made it back to Germany. Living alone again suddenly feels very weird. Caught myself talking to myself more than once. 😂 Really miss living with a cat. 🐈‍⬛Time feels strange when so much 💩 is happening in the world all at once. So quick and so slow at the same time. Still - somehow turned 33. And starting to actually feel like it. She worked hard for the money. She worked hard to be there where she is. Berlin suddenly feels loud. Too loud. Some topics though - you simply can’t be loud enough about. 👊🏻Donated three bags of clothes. Kruger Day 1. We are completely mesmerized. And, which rarely happens, speechless!From tiny elephants clumsily crossing the road to crocodiles baring their teeth to the absolute unforgettable sight of two lions feeding on a carcass while vultures waited their turn - every moment felt absolutely surreal.The beauty of Kruger is beyond words. Announcement: I hereby declare January a trial month for ’26! Grateful for all the beautiful, special moments: my first cricket match ever, a trip to @dinokenggamereserve. And another month of quality time with my partner.Also grateful for the shitshows that made me grow stronger. December 25. A month that felt like twelve… 😅The hustle until December 23rd - unreal. Not too sad to see the Year of the Snake end. No need to wait for 2026 for exciting happenings and changes, though: left for four months in South Africa, started a business coaching, went on a roadtrip that turned into less than a roadtrip because we decided to stick around a little longer in remote paradise far away from the city, wifi etc… and once again reminded myself to live life DELICIOUSLY. ✨2026, I’m ready for you.
