Man, did life happen so fu*king fast… I always heard about it & yet, I never expected it to be the case. Things that felt like a month ago happened 5 years back & people I’ve known for a year feel like they’ve been around for 3… As 2024 wraps up, I can say with confidence I have no clue what my goals are; Life has happened to me before, in big ways, in messy ways, in ways that *necessitated* action. I’ve noticed I don’t know how to deal with stillness; I hold the perception that only chaos creates change. Stillness is what I’ve prayed for, still I have yet to learn how to enjoy it; Is growth still growth without a mess? Can the absence of trauma still hold forward motion?

For 2025, I aspire to validate change & growth, even when it doesn’t feel destructive & I hope to keep trusting that flowers grow from the seeds planted, even when I keep looking at soil. After all, roots take time to spread. by @ginger_ele

A small apartment means I have to find ways to incorporate seasonal decor where I can if I want it, since it’s Dec. 1st & I’m feeling festive 🥰❄️ time to switch over for Christmas bedding!!
