Hey hey! We're going on second tour with Self-Immolation Music this year in two weeks. There's going to be a split cassette available only on the gigs. The Leeds lads are not going to share their part online, but you can listen and free download our side now on bandcamp (link in bio). The two songs SIM recorded are killers, so be sure to buy the damn tape.

The first two songs mark the first pieces of music we did with The Peter Jacksons as the band, we're playing those for some time now live and since our flutist Tom recently left the band ("he fucking left the band!"), we decided to record those with him as a memento of his time with us. Thanks buddy! Winged Snake of Arabia is featured here in a much better version that evolved from the last year's solo album, when the guys elevated it with their profound performance.

@panzer_tcv made this fantastic paper cutout artwork and @doppelg.anger took care of tape layout and design. Be sure to check their work too.

See you soon!

PS: this is not the only Ginger Wizard & The Peter Jacksons release to come out this year 🫠🧙‍♂️ by @ginger_wizardry

SELF-IMMOLATION MUSIC (UK)

Ginger Wizard & The Peter Jacksons (Fantasy Rock - CZ)

Végre ellátogat Budapestre a Ginger Wizard & The Peter Jacksons, a kortárs instrumentális pszichedelikus zene egyik legizgalmasabb bandája. Radomír Szajter (ex-Pacino) projektjéhez (amelynek legújabb albuma, a Curious Flora & Fauna of the Ancient World a londoni Crypt of the Wizard kiadónál jelent meg) Lukáš Polák (ex-Orient), Emil Prachař (Vole) és Vítek Chaloupecký (Tomáš Palucha, Rutka Laskier) csatlakozik, hogy az új lemez mítikus és ritualisztiks, ezúttal a kardokat a természetre cserélő dalait bemutassák.

Self-Immolation Music (Psychedelic Rock - UK)

A lepusztult leedsi gyárépületek mélyéről zavaros, hipnotikus dübörgés hallatszik. Egyszerrre emlékeztet a detroiti protopunkra, a krautrockra és a 80-as évek végének neopszichedeliájára. Álomszerű, pulzáló basszusvonalak, rémálomszerű szintetizátor-atmoszféra és acid-trip gitárriffek mindezt egy hatalmas punk szemüvegen keresztül. Egyszerre merítenek és vegyítenek a Ride-ot, Spacemen 3-t, Jesus and Mary Chain-t vagy akár Velvet Undergroundot, pszichedelikus shoegaze-t és space rockot. A banda a leedsi hardcore és punk színtér legjavából verbuválódott össze. Tom a The Shitsben és a Friskben is játszik. Patrick korábban a Beta Blockersben játszott, jelenleg a leedsi d-beat bandában, a Tramadolban játszik.

Unholy Sativa (Psychedelic Blast Rock - Budapest)

It will happen! 😳🛸🔮

In Scharen. In Massen. In Gruppen!

Euer

Lightning Bird e.V. & Plattenzimmer e.V.
