How lucky am I to celebrate a birthday with my favorite people in my favorite shop in my favorite town?

All my love and gratitude to @gonzowildcat and the @pulpvintage_lexington team for letting me crash Pulp!, better known to the Lexington Police Department circa October 1995 as Kentucky After Dark, an “adult bookstore” with very few books. It was the site of the Lexington Police Department’s investigation dubbed “Operation Moneygirl.” Seven arrests. Eight weeks of undercover surveillance. Felonies on felonies. The Herald Leader had to define some pretty seedy terms for the pearl-clutching public.

Today, it’s a beautifully curated vintage store run by the sweetest people alive. Y’all go shop Pulp! Vintage at 933 Winchester; it’s been bleached for a couple years now! And thank you, Matt and @corsaut1 @b_monty333 @atomic_realm @onlinemadge for letting a building with this much personality host one more weird night.
