Hello there 💕
So like promised I thought I'd talk little bit about about my hair goals for 2026.

While my ultimate goal is still to reach mid thighs with even thickness at the ends, it is a goal that feels quite unrealistic at the moment. My experience is that as soon as I pass tailbone length I start to obtain a lot of of thinning and damage. The problem is I lack the energy and dedication my hair requires to stay healthy past that length.
So this year I am considering trimming more often and focus on trying to implement better habits to care for it and keep it healthy, before continuing the journey to healthy mid thigh length.

My goals are:
🌟 Continue working on improving my overall health.
🌟 Check my ends and do the search and destroy method more frequently.
🌟 Try to build a simple yet effective haircare routine I manage to follow without overwhelming myself.
🌟 Work on building better habits to keep my lenght healthy, like wearing protective hairstyles more often.

Like I said I am thinking about cutting it more frequently to maintain it at it's current lenght while I try to built better habits, but we'll just see how it goes and what I feel like month by month 🫶

☀️Hair update August 2026☀️

My hair feels so much better these days. I finally used up the conditioner I didn't like, and changed up shampoo and conditioner, and that made me realise just how much of a different the products I use actually can make on my hair. Because my hair feels so so much healthier after the change.

It has also caught my mind that I probably have been neglecting my ends quite a lot in the last couple of years, while I have also put them through a rougher time than usual. So no wonders I have had far more splits and breakage than normal for me.
Thats somthing I want to focus on and try to get better at now.

My hair shedding has returned unfortunately, and since we are entering fall I imagine it is only going to get worse. But I hope my hair won't get too much thinner 🙏

I did follow my goals for August somewhat okay, and will keep most of the same one's for September:
🤎 Regular hair washing
✨️ Keep up with scalp scrub + hairmask
🤎 Protective hairstyles day and night
✨️ Remember to be gentle!
🤎 Give my ends some love and care
✨️ and maybe most importantly, try to eat well🤎

🤍 The body deli - Eucalyptus rosemary bath and body oil
I love these oils so much, they last a long time and can be used in multiple ways. I loved this particular one as a massage oil, but also in place of body lotion on some days, or in combination with body lotion on days my skin needed a little extra care.
Would buy again ✅️

🤍 Madara - Derma collagen day cream
It's traveled with me a lot so the text on the bottle has rubbed off hehe, but I quite liked this cream. A bit too light for me without a serum underneath but when used in combination with serum it was perfect!
Might buy again ✅️

🤍 Laurel - Honey rosemary spice mask
I bought this mask years ago, and I loved it so much I set it aside to save the last bit for another day. Well time passed and I forgot about it eventually. There was only enough for one more use and I used it the other day. It was just as lovely as I remember it.
If it is still in production I want to but it again sometime, such a lovely face mask ✅️

🤍 Kerotin - Intensive growth drops
If you saw my last post reviewing this you already know I loved it. For me they made a significant reduction in my hair shedding.
While this time they were gifted to me so I only payed import duties, I loved them so much I'm thinking about buying them myself to try for a longer period ✅️

🤍 Organic shop - Avocado & Honey repairing conditioner
I bought this because I needed at new conditioner, it said it was organic ingredients and it was exceptionally cheap. Well I guess it's a case of "you get what you pay for" because I did not like this at all. I needed to use 6 pumps of it inorder for my hair not to feel exceptionally dry, and it felt anything but repairing.
Will not buy again ❌️

🤍 Suntique - I'm safe for sensitive skin spf 35
This one also took me a long time to finish because I felt it was a little irritating to my skin and eyes.
Would not buy again ❌️

Washday results and awkward bundrop ✨️

Products used:
Kerotin pink clay scalp scrub
Kerotin scalp flake-relief shampoo
Calia intensive conditioner
Kerotin Snail mucin hair serum

My hair was quite greasy and sticky from my spf getting in my hair and going a few days longer since my last wash🙃
So it was time for a scrub again, because my hair was extra dirty I followed with shampoo after the scalp scrub, and then the conditioner which I let sit for 5-10 minutes.
After shower I gently pressed out as much water as I can with the towel, let it air dry a little bit while I do my face and body care.
Then apply a few pumps of the hair serum to damp hair before I blow dry.
Very satisfied with this washday, my hair is feeling clean, silky and smooth ✨️🤍

🌿Little review of the hair growth drops by kerotin 🌿

I have absolutely LOVED these drops and they have by far excided my expectations!

I had never used any kind of scalp serum before so I wasn't sure what to expect, and I was a little worried it would make my hair feel greasy after application. This was luckily not the case, they get well absorbed and the hair still feels fresh and clean.

One thing to note is that they have a strong smell, I'm not good at describing scents, but I feel it's a typical hair care smell like right after a shower. I actually got multiple comments that my hair smelled really good while using them so it is nice, but it is strong and lasts throughout the day, so as someone who is a little sensitive sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming.

While I did have high expectations I wasn't expecting them to be as effective for me as they have been.
Already after one week I started noticing less hair fall. At first I thought it was just coincidentally, an unusually good day or something, but nope it just kept getting better and every week I noticed less. I honestly can't even remember the last time I had this little hairfall, I am genuinely amazed!
I don't know how long this effect will last, I have now been a few weeks without them and I'm still noticing a little less hairfall than before.

I did miss one week of application when I was on vacation, and I also skipped some days when my hair was very greasy. Apart from that I have been using it consistently every day, and one bottle lasted me 6 weeks and a couple days.

I have not noticed any new hairs growing in, nor have my hair grown more than normal. But I also don't think that would be realistic to see after only one month of use.
