So this is 38 ✨🪩☀️🏝️🎀 (a little late, but right on time)

A little older, maybe a little wiser… and so grateful. Grounded in Christ, surrounded by people I love, and blessed with good health 🤍

Honored to get to live this life — to experience, to give, to grow — alongside people who push me toward a faith-filled life... sometimes giving a spirit butt kicking, warring with me in prayer, other times cheering each other on, watching each other win. Sharpening each other along the way. You know who you are. Thank you.

A moment for the hair and the dress! This is 37! ✨🪩🤍🌸

I haven’t posted in a while, but I am proud of how I showed up over the past year. I went through deep valleys of sadness, depression, heartache, and healing—and I trusted God again and again. I chased community that continues to sharpen me. I pursued health in multiple ways. I stepped out in faith, made changes, adjusted, prayed, and prayed again.

I’m still in process. I still have prayers that I’m waiting in faith to see God fulfill. I still feel waves of grief, stings of pain, and bouts of loneliness. But I choose to keep going—to pursue His faithfulness.

So here’s to another year—another of surrendering my plans, choosing joy, and living out my faith with people I love. Thank you for all the birthday wishes! You will never know how much you all mean to me.

It’s my covid-anniversary. One year ago today I tested positive for covid. It’s causing me to pause and reflect today.
.
I am thinking about change… how it comes out of no where. Sometimes good, sometimes unexpected. Does that mean bad? I wonder if I could have done things different or if I have been right in step where I need to be over the last year. I am asking, “why?” In the same breath, “why not!” Ha! I am not much of a risk taker, but I want to be! I am praying hard… for my mom, my job, my community… the world. I am exhausted with wonder and what if’s, but also fully expectant for goodness. If that’s even possible. I am trying to hang on to peace and walk in confidence while acknowledging the blessings that are evident in my life. I will admit, I miss them sometimes. I am wondering if I will ever fall in love? If I will ever feel fully secure in my personality? Truly, if I will trust God enough to free fall in to this next season. I am grateful God is with me in and out of high seasons despite my constant battling. So here I am, just pausing in the midst of change, transition and unknowns to reflect. It’s good. I’m good.
