👂🏻GET THE INSIDE SCOOP FROM TWO 2026 JUDGES! 👂🏻 Wondering what my cookie art competition judges look for in entries?! Well, listen up, because two of my 2026 judges (Sandie Beltran aka @youcancallmesweetie and Beatriz Muller aka @gingerneers) and I have prepared a special video glimpse into all of this and more! 😀 In addition to discussing the judging process and criteria, they speak about what they most appreciate in entries and also the typical pitfalls they hope entrants will avoid. At the end of the video (link below), they each share their biggest, most valuable tip for entrants. In other words, this video is a must-watch for anyone who’s entering or considering doing so!

The judges provide incredible feedback (if requested by the entry deadline), but the prizes are also immense this year ($32,000 USD), so there’s nothing to lose by entering; only tons to gain. And the other good news is: The entry deadline is a solid month and a half away (May 31, 2026, 5 pm CT, to be exact), so there’s plenty of time to create. See the second link below for rules and registration info.

Thanks again to Sandie and Beatriz for making this video with me, and to all of my judges for the important judging task they’ll soon undertake! 👏🏻

📣 A HUGE SHOUT-OUT TO MY 2026 JUDGING TEAM! 📣 You’ll see mostly familiar faces this year! (After all, when a well-oiled machine works nearly perfectly, why tinker with it?!) Four of my five 2025 judges – Sandie Beltran (@youcancallmesweetie), Beatriz Muller (@gingerneers), Laura Saporiti (@laurasaporiti), and Anna Oliinyk (@sunday_cookers) - are returning in 2026, bringing with them close to 18 years of combined judging experience just with my online competition, and countless more hours (and years) if you consider their involvement in other awards programs prior to mine. As for their combined decorating experience, it’s easily 40 years, and they’ve collectively achieved just about everything one could imagine achieving in cookie-space - they’ve won national and international cookie awards, competed (and won) Food Network competitions, and traveled the globe teaching their skills. Together, they’ve distinguished themselves in nearly every aspect of cookie decorating, from painting and piping to dimensional sculpting and 3-D construction. In other words, they are nothing short of incredible and uniquely qualified as both decorators and judges to evaluate your entries!

They also know from firsthand experience how much heart and soul you pour into your submissions, and so they apply the utmost care to evaluating your work fairly, objectively, and constructively. I thank them once again, from the bottom of my heart, for their commitment to another year of my competition and to each and every one of its fabulous entrants! Please join me in giving them a huge round of applause. 👏🏻
