We spent our first anniversary in our wild & wonderful West Virginia hills, and had the best time! The New River Gorge National Park and Reserve, Babcock State Park, and Fayetteville have some of the best views, people, and food you could ask for - a place that will truly capture your heart. 💕🌳⛰️

Brookie graduated last weekend with her Master's in Engineering Management and I couldn't be a more proud husband. @bvurban - through wedding planning, numerous homework weekends, taking care of Mazie and I, and being promoted and working a full-time job - you absolutely killed it! Honeymoon Part 3/3🌺🪸🐢
We snorkeled for the 1st time and I discovered I am obsessed with snorkeling in the Maui coral reefs. I snorkeled at 3 different locations, and was able to snorkel with hundreds of fish - including the humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa (the Hawai’i state fish!). I also checked off a bucket list item - swimming along side a honu🐢😍 (Hawaiian green sea turtle).

Honeymoon Part 2/3 🌺🚙🏝️
The other highlight was traveling on the Road to Hana, while stopping at a black sand beach & hiking 4 miles to a 400 foot waterfall. The Road to Hana features a 64 mile drive, with 620 curves & 50+ one-lane bridges, all winding through the rainforest.

Honeymoon Part 1/3 🌺🌋🌅
Maui is absolutely breathtaking. One of the highlights of our honeymoon was watching the sunset from the top of the Haleakalā volcano. Watching the sunset over the clouds at 10,023 feet elevation is something we will never forgot. Also, check out the blooming silversword, which can only be found on Haleakalā!
