The Sensorium Sauna is live @andsoulsanctuary !

Designed and created by @mrmarkalanharris & @_trang_lagioiadimare (aka @gingersquirrelcreative) in close collaboration with the legendary bespoke joiners @fentonscottfielder and @pissdoffchristof.

This little temple of heat sits at the very heart of #andsoulsanctuary. Step inside and look up—our illuminated Oculus (the Eye of Isis) channels sun-soaked energy through layers of light, sound, and restorative heat.

Come sweat, breathe, and let your senses swim. 🔥✨

Big love to @jasminefisherltd for the Sun inspiration for this space. Huge thanks to sauna friends and consultants for guidance along the way. @saunamasteruk @the_cedar_sauna_company @thesaunaverse

After countless hours, 12,000 individually controllable LEDs, more sketches and solders than we care to remember, and a few tears along the way… Our newest and most ambitious piece of installation art to date is born.

Measuring 4 metres across and weighing over a half a ton, Vortex is a swirling portal of light, movement, and energy.

The bespoke piece illuminates and grounds the Soul space @andsoulsanctuary. The geometry and pulse aren’t just for visual effect – they tune into frequencies which align energy, centre focus, and remind us of the inherent order within all things.

🪐Vortex is a collaboration between @gingersquirrelcreative and @thomaspeto produced for @andsoulsanctuary andsoulsanctuary.

⚡️ More on Vortex in the weeks to come…

Some of the most magical pieces we’ve created have been incepted whilst we’re there on site.

I know people think that we have it all perfectly planned…but the reality of Medicine Is that things come together towards the end, so we choose lean into the alchemy.

It’s a testament to what a strong team can achieve when they’re united under a clear, common vision. Much respect, as always, to everyone involved.

You rock our world 🔥✌️ by @gingersquirrelcreative

When we see stages & spaces in completion, performances in full flow & audiences soaking up the atmosphere, it’s hard to really imagine what goes into creating them…

Every nook and cranny is full to the brim with the intentional, focused efforts of people coming together, balancing huge physical & mental output with self-care & self-regulation, to land spaces which carry the vibe we want to see during the festival. Grounded celebration, high vibe happenings and deep meaningful transmissions.

We offer our respect & gratitude to all the creators, performers, facilitators and the audience for the energy we created together 🪐

Our fourth year bringing together the creative team to build Medicine Festival. Establishing a world within a world.
Inviting you into the architecture of our continuous prayer.

Thank you for showing up for each other and yourselves in every morning circle and the day (and sometimes night) that followed.

Thank you for persevering - through the myriad of challenges each days presented, for working late and giving it your all.

Thank you for weaving your incredible talents among each other to achieve more than any single one of us could have done alone.

Thanks for all the giggles, the laughs, the silliness, the fun, everything that makes such intensive work feel possible.

Thanks for giving your time to a project that really is trying to make a difference, and for supporting us at Ginger Squirrel to create inspiring, heart-centred, empowered working spaces for creatives to explore, expand and blossom.

To succinctly articulate how we feel about you all is almost an impossible task. We could write a book (on each of you)
We love you.

Temple of the Birds, at the Goddess Fyr, @medicinefestival 2026

Designed and created by lead artist @rebecca_gilling & team (tags below)

Produced by @gingersquirrelcreative, creative direction by @mrmarkalanharris

A new permanent install at @wasing1759 , honouring our feathered friends and uplifting oneness and harmony between all beings.

Created using ancestral building techniques including wattle and daub and clay & lime plastering. This is what is possible when a world class team of 20 artists, sculptors, natural builders and landscapers join forces for a 2.5 week marathon of making to co-create a vision.

It was an absolute dream to work with each and every one of you and I’m humbled by the love, effort and energy that you all poured into this piece. That we managed to pull off building an entire new structure, including stained glass, a hand cut stone mandala floor, a sculptural deck, angels, 3D birds in each rafter, huge wings and everything to a good standard in just over 2 weeks is astounding. In part it was thanks to extremely hot weather blessing us with rapid drying times, but mostly it was down to the devotion, hard work, high skill level, experience and dedication of the team…

Calling in more projects of this calibre!

The masked perspective of Medicine Festival 🌞

Walking between the worlds of the scared and the wonder of play. Meeting the entry point of expression through shared joy.

Showcasing the marvellous designs of @gingersquirrelcreative and the team. What a world, what a creation.

Bless the corners that we made a home throughout the festival field.
A true village of shared dreaming,
of walking each other home.

Which aspect of this years @medicinefestival did you find home within?
