Hi friends, happy first weekend of fall!šŸ‚

When my friend Alicia @theblessedpeach sent me these sweet fall towels, I was inspired to set a little autumn table.

It came together with a pumpkin cake, coffee for two, a few autumn flowers, and the adorable towels.

I love how the warm plaid and darling pumpkin print complement each other, and the ruffled edges are such a pretty detail.

Alicia has so many beautiful towels in her shop! Head to my stories for the link.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!šŸ‚

Hi friends! You might remember these Maple Cream Sandwich Cookies from last fall. I loved them so much that I decided to make them again this fall, experimenting with a new cutout technique to give them an extra-pretty autumn touch.šŸ

These soft and chewy cookies are the ultimate fall treat! They are flavored with maple and a hint of cinnamon and are sandwiched with a sweet maple buttercream frosting. I have included the recipe below, and I’ll share the links for the cookie cutters in my stories.

Do you have a favorite fall cookie?šŸ

I hope you have a great day!

#fallcookies #maplecreamcookies #maplecookies #fallbaking #recipeshare

šŸMaple Cream Sandwich CookiesšŸ
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg, room temperature
1 teaspoon maple extract
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon, set aside. In stand mixer, cream sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add egg and extracts, mix until incorporated. With mixer on low speed, slowly add flour mixture. Mix just until combined. Form dough into two disks, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill for one hour.

Preheat oven to 325°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper, set aside. Roll out dough to 1/4ā€ thickness, dusting dough with flour as needed. Cut out in desired shape and place cookies on baking sheets. Chill cookies for 15 minutes and then bake for 9-11 minutes, just until edges are golden. Cool on wire racks before adding cream filling.

Maple Cream Filling

2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1/8 teaspoon salt

In stand mixer, mix together powdered sugar and butter until combined. Add maple syrup and salt, mix at medium-high speed until light and creamy, about 2-3 minutes. by @ginghamandbows

Hi friends! This cinnamon streusel coffee cake is everything I love in a simple, old-fashioned bake. It’s a soft, buttery cake with a ribbon of cinnamon through the middle, plenty of crumbly streusel on top, and a drizzle of vanilla glaze.

It would be the perfect treat to bake this weekend! It’s delicious served warm for Saturday breakfast or Sunday brunch, enjoy a slice with an afternoon cup of coffee, or save a little for dessert.

Head to my stories for the link to the recipe!

Will you be doing any fall baking this weekend?šŸ‚

I hope you have a great day!

Hi friends! For this tablescape, I kept things soft and simple for late summer. I used neutral linens, a few vintage silver pieces, and the prettiest pop of seasonal color from fresh peaches.

Styling your table helps set the tone for any occasion. Creating a beautiful tablescape is like creating a centerpiece of your home.

Be sure to stop by and take a look at the beautiful tables that each of my friends has created.

Hi friends! One of the things I love most about baking is that there’s always something new to learn.

I’m a self-taught baker, and over the years I’ve discovered a handful of little baking habits that have made a noticeable difference in my baking. They’re simple, easy to overlook, and they’ve helped me become a more confident baker. I hope they will be helpful to you too.

What’s one little baking habit that has made the biggest difference in your kitchen? I’d love to hear your favorite tip in the comments.

And if you enjoyed this, let me know. I’d love to make it a regular series and share more little baking habits I’ve picked up over the years.

I hope you’re having a good day!🧁

Hi friends! It has been a little while since I’ve shared anything, and I just wanted to say hello.

Summer flies by, so I’ve been spending a little less time on my phone and a little more time enjoying the everyday moments. But I couldn’t resist stopping by and sharing these pretty summer blooms. Fresh flowers always put a smile on my face, do they do the same for you?

I hope you’re having a wonderful summer so far. What’s been bringing you joy lately?🌿
