I had to learn this the hard way…
Loving people hoping they’d fill something in me that only God could.

But when God fills you…
you stop loving with conditions
you stop loving from wounds
you stop loving to receive

And you start loving like Jesus… even when it’s not returned. 🤍

nothing humbles you faster than God exposing you through someone who prays for you 👀

High-key grateful though… 🤍

who else has been CLOCKED through the Holy Spirit exposing you through a loved one?? 😭👇

Part 1
God gave me a serious heart check while I was reading about King Saul and King David. The way David handled offense… even when Saul was literally trying to kill him… wrecked me. He still honored and served Saul. That kind of heart posture? Whew. 😮‍💨

It reminded me of a time I left a ministry because I was offended. I thought I was right… but now I realize I didn’t leave with honor. My season could have definitely been done there but still I didn’t have the heart of God when leaving.

I’ll share more in Part 2 👀 Tomorrow…

When you come into a place of healing in Jesus, you begin to love yourself… not from a place of vanity, but from a revelation of the beauty of your identity in Him.

The chains of society’s expectations, side eyes, and judgments begin to break off, and you bloom in ways you never could have imagined. It’s truly freeing. 🤍

Actual footage of me once I finally allowed God to remove those rose-colored glasses. 😭

Funny how what once had a chokehold on you suddenly doesn’t look the same when you start seeing it through God’s eyes instead of your emotions.

Sometimes the breakthrough isn’t God changing the situation. It’s Him changing your perspective…
