happy anniversary my love 🩵

if someone would’ve told me in six months ago this is what our anniversary would be like i never would’ve believed them. i would’ve done anything and everything to prevent it. james was the something in my life that made me forget about everything else. he showed me what it was like to be truly and fully loved by someone and chosen by them every single time. he always did and always will make me want to be a better version of myself w each day just because of the time spent watching him always work to become a better version of himself. we never lied, fought, or argued w each other, and everyone always told us we were a perfect match for the other.
we would’ve been planning our wedding, continuing to build our future together, and making the kind of memories i randomly think about later and smile on if life hadn’t flipped the way it did. i have to grieve him, but im also left grieving our future and also what we knew as our present. i miss our daily routines, small habits, or little traditions we developed over the years. i miss the simple things like having him to talk to at the end of the day or when we would leave for work in the morning and drive beside each other as long as possible before we blew each other a kiss and drove in opposite directions.
i miss you on the big events, but i miss you more on the mundane days because those were the days you always made me feel loved and like i was special. i always told you i loved you more than words could ever describe and i meant it when i promised i would love you always. i miss you more than i ever knew i could 🫶🏻🫶🏻 by @ginibreedlove
