Keeping the accounts distinct ! by @ginlovingslimmer

Finally, an on plan day. I used all my swips for a hi-fi bar (3), measured gin (4) and slimline, gravy (2) and a few of hubby’s crisps (5). Breakfast which I forgot to snap was Bran Flakes, fat free yog, strawberries and raspberries. 14k steps. It feels good to be back to better food after Hallowe’en🧙🏻.

Lots of spooky Hallowe’en goings on today around Weybridge and at The Great Cockcrow Railway near Chertsey.

🎯🎯🎯. I called target at my Slimming World group today. I’ve plateaued recently at a decent weight though I would have liked a few more pounds off ideally but I know I can maintain this. Lots of plus points to consider, no achy knees, my winter coat zips up again, blood pressure is ok, activity levels remain good and my heart health is in the excellent range. Never going to be a thigh gap and razor cheekbones kind of gal 💀. Two stones off has made life more enjoyable and I took the very scenic route to achieve it, not turning down anything I wanted to do in case it led to a weight gain.
No Halloween sweets in residence here this year though, it’s often me who ends up eating them 🍁🎃👻.
NB: they got today’s date wrong on my certificate! I think we were all tired this morning, I weighed with my jumper and shoes on which I NEVER do 🤪.

Peanut butter chicken pasta which tastes better than it looks! 2.5 swips per serving for the peanut butter. Lots of peppers and spring onions or red onion in this case with ginger and garlic, soy sauce, chilli flakes, lime juice and coriander to finish if you like it. A Slimming World online recipe.

Salmon fillet, mustard and nigella seed stir fried savoy cabbage, root veg mash. Simple food at the end of a long day gardening in the rain before the sun came out amongst other things. 17k steps and a naughty glass of red wine.

Busy day, simple dinner. What to do with two chicken breasts on the use-by date? A quick garlic, honey and soy chicken noodle stir-fry with onions, sugarsnaps and red peppers. I used hot honey for a little more ooopmh.

My group The Weybridge Litter Busters were out on this dry but blustery day to pick the local area. Obviously some litter blows away but we found around 16 bags worth plus fly tipping. 15k steps and lots of fresh air… and lots of nitrous oxide canisters.

I deserved more as I tried hard this week but that’s life. It’s sometimes tricky when you get close to your target weight. Getting to group was challenging in the rain this morning, car park flooded, gutters above the entrance were blocked and causing a waterfall and a numpty had left a window open so rainwater had blown in and made a big puddle inside. Who opens windows when you’re on storm warning?! 🤷‍♀️☔️

Soft lentil wraps to accompany leftover chilli chicken masala and tenderstem broccoli. The wraps are just made with softened red lentils, water and a bit of salt blitzed to a batter. First time making them and I think mine are a bit thick but they were tasty and good with the curry, full of fibre and vitamins. Thanks @barbshandmademagic for the inspo 🥞.

Chilli Chicken Masala from the Pinch of Nom All in One recipe book. Zero swips. Spicy with several forms of fresh and dried chillies but full of flavour. I served it with a half pouch of Tilda wholegrain basmati and wild rice (1.5 swips) as I was feeling lazy. Washed down with a refreshing Sanpellegrino Zero Aranciata Rossa (1 swip). Distinctly lacking in green veg apart from red and green peppers but on this wet October day it hit the spot.

Pork loin cooked in the slow cooker until very tender served with mustard mash, beans, tender stem and carrots . One teaspoon of butter 2 swips.
A five grain crumpet (fibre choice) 100% peanut butter (healthy fat choice) and damson jam (3 swips).
Brekkie was a blend of Alpen and Bran Flakes as my first fibre choice with fat free yoghurt and blueberries. Had to swip my BOB milk today.
I also made some rhubarb jelly using a sugar free jelly sachet plus lovely pink rhubarb , a great way to get some extra fibre.
