I want to thank you all for all the messages, comments and calls they are so appreciated ❤️ Our family lost a big part of our heart yesterday 💔• I’m so happy you all enjoyed getting to know Max Over the years • for those who have met him in person you know he was very sweet and loving • his life started out living in a pet store in a cage for 7 months but June 4, 2007 was a start of a new life for him and for us • he gave us so much joy and love • he had a long life in dog years (16)but never enough for us • Max will be missed so much our Maxie toy • I know he is happy to be able to see and hear again and I hope he can see how much we are missing him • Thanks again for letting me share him and my grief for him • Appreciate you all more than you know ❤️ #pawprintsonmyheart🐾❤️ #adoptdontshop🐾 by @ginnie1963

Hi everyone! 💗 Adriana and I will be walking in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event, and we would truly appreciate any support you’re able to give toward breast cancer research.

As many of you know, breast cancer has touched our family in so many ways. My mom battled breast cancer 23 years ago, and this year I found myself facing it as well. Mark, along with several other family members and dear friends, have also been affected by this disease.

Walking this year is especially meaningful to me. I’m walking for those who have fought, those still fighting, those we’ve lost, and for all the families whose lives have been changed by breast cancer. 💗

If you’re able to make a donation, no matter the amount, it would mean so much to Adriana and me. Every contribution helps support research and brings us one step closer to a future where fewer families have to hear the words, “You have breast cancer.”

Miss you so much ❤️ It’s been 8 years since you left us, but it still feels like yesterday. I wish I could hug you, hear your voice, and have just one more conversation with you. I’ve been job hunting and could really use your help! I’m looking to break into the IT field and am currently searching for my first professional IT opportunity.

I’ve passed my CompTIA Security+ and already have my A+ and Network+, so I officially have the full trifecta! 💻🔐

I’m looking for Help Desk, IT Support, Junior Network, or Junior Security Analyst positions, either remote or in the Atlanta area.

Today I closed another chapter in this journey—I completed all 20 rounds of radiation.

When I was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer, I never imagined how much this experience would change me. There were days of uncertainty, fear, and exhaustion, but also days filled with hope, strength, and incredible support.

I am beyond grateful that my lymph nodes were clear, my recurrence risk was very low, and that I didn’t need chemotherapy. Today, I celebrate this victory with a heart full of gratitude.

To my family, friends, and everyone who prayed, checked in, encouraged me, and stood by my side—thank you. Your love carried me through more than you’ll ever know.

A special thank you to my amazing medical team for their compassion and care every step of the way.

This journey has reminded me that every day is a gift. I’m looking forward with hope, faith, and a grateful heart as I continue to heal.

Adriana, as you turn 29 today, we want you to know how incredibly proud we are of the woman you have become. You have the kindest heart, love deeply, and give so much of yourself to the people who are lucky enough to know you.

Being your parents has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives. Watching you grow into such a beautiful, strong, and compassionate woman fills us with more pride than words can express.

Soon you’ll become Mrs. Murphy, and our hearts couldn’t be happier knowing you have found your soulmate and someone who loves you the way you deserve to be loved.

Your smile lights up every room you walk into, and anyone who knows you would agree that you are truly special. We are the lucky ones.

As I turn 63 today, I’ve been thinking a lot about life… where mine has been, where it is now, and what’s still to come. There have been beautiful moments and painful ones, losses and blessings, just like everyone experiences. But the last few years especially have reminded me how short and precious life really is.

What matters most to me now is time… time with family, friends, laughter, love, and the people who keep showing up for each other through it all. That’s what keeps me going.

And honestly, I’m still the girl in the top photo… just softer in some places, stronger in others, and carrying a lot more wisdom than I did back then. 💛 by @ginnie1963

Happy May… and what a journey it’s already been. Just a little life update…

I’m beyond thankful to share that my scans are clear—no cancer in my lymph nodes, and the risk of recurrence is very low. Hearing “95% favorable” felt like exhaling after holding my breath for so long. No chemo, and I’ll begin radiation soon—4 weeks, 5 days a week.

Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Life reminded us again how quickly things can shift—Rudy ended up in the ER last Friday and stayed overnight with multifocal pneumonia. It was scary, but he’s improving after IV antibiotics.

We’re holding onto the good news and hoping for a softer, quieter rest of the year 🤍 by @ginnie1963

38 years later… here we are.
A journey filled with love, laughter, and the beautiful life we built with Alex and Gaby, Adriana and Corey.

We’ve been incredibly blessed with friends and family who have stood by us, lifted us, and loved us—especially through these past three years, navigating both your cancer and mine. That kind of support is something we will never take for granted.

Life has changed in so many ways since the beginning… but through it all, we still have each other. And that’s everything.

Praying for many more years side by side.

What a beautiful, unforgettable day 🤍

Watching Adriana step into this moment—surrounded by so much love—meant everything. With my mom, Kristi (future stepmother-in-law), and 3 of her 5 girls by her side—Nikki, Em, and Gretell (missing Gaby and Amanda )there was laughter, happy tears, and that kind of magic you wish you could bottle forever.

And then… she found it.

The dress. The moment. The feeling.
