Y’all! Walden’s Ridge Park is open. To say I’m proud of being a part of this team would be an understatement. Working for @landtrusttn was such a joy, and working alongside @sorbachattanooga (@leswarnock ), @northchickconservancy (@tftsbly & Tim ), and @seclimbers (Kate & Meg) was incredible. And, of course, @bootsiverson @gaston.farmer @lizmclaurin @emilybparish are the best around! Also, thanks to @suckcreekcycle for EVERYTHING!

Get out there ASAP 🚵‍♀️🪨🥾

He never met a cat he didn’t love—and they loved him right back. Boots, Otis, Jojo… cats were always his thing.

He was so playful. He’d bounce when he got excited and spin in circles the moment he heard “walk” or “car.”
He was a prancer—a little show pony.

Storms scared him. A cough could startle him. He didn’t like raised voices.
But he loved deeply and easily.

He was a close sleeper, loved car rides, and was my low-riding trail running buddy.
If you met him, you loved him instantly.

He was my constant for over a decade.

I know he’s with Boots, Lucy, and Rey now, running through fields of flowers and playing again.

We loved you more than anything, Calvin. And we always will ♥️♥️ by @ginnysmithcha

Life lately has been a mix of everything.

Calvin not doing well after surgery (better report this morning from the vet).

Stump Jump being truly special (thank you, Jeff, Aden, Mitchell, Jeremy and amazing volunteers).

Running the Chattanooga Marathon with the Wayward Pastry crew (check them out in St Elmo).

Jeff’s birthday in NYC seeing Steve Earle.

It all feels a little scattered.

Heavy + light.
Hard + really good. by @ginnysmithcha

2025 stretched me in all the best and hardest ways. I deepened friendships, built new partnerships, and released a few that no longer fit. I grew my business, stepped into exciting nonprofit work with SORBA, and stepped away from older paths to make room for new ones. There were seasons of running — and seasons of rest. I’m learning to slow down, to be present, to value the people beside me, and to turn down the noise. Here’s to 2026 — and to walking into it with Jeff @jefcan at my side ♥️🌟♥️ taken in Red Bank, Tennessee by @ginnysmithcha
