POSTS STORIES REELS

The year is 2023. A photographer is standing in the rain in the near of one of the last remaining telephone booths in the city. He sees a vehicle approaching slowly. It stops and the lights go out. An elderly man opens the driver's door and gets out, walks hurriedly through the rain and enters the booth. The photographer senses his chance, but he still has to wait for the right moment. The man pulls out a notebook, searches for the right page, seems to be looking for a number. The light is good, the view unobstructed. When the unknown man holds the red handset to his ear, the moment has come. Click. The shot is taken.

Why do you think the man used a public phone and who did he call?

No, the scenery on this photo is of course not current, the shot actually lies a few months ago. But now that autumn is here, I am again more often on the road in our beautiful forests. A few days ago I passed this place again while biking and I said to my self „I'm looking forward to the wild garlic and its wonderful smell again!“. So this shot came back to my mind.

The picture was taken on a beautiful spring morning, when the sun was just coming out from behind the slope covered by this mystic forest. Once more i realized that you don't have to go far to find beautiful places, sometimes they are almost at your doorstep.

THE CANDLE ABOVE THE ROOFTOPS
I discovered this scene during an evening walk: I was instantly captivated by the vibrant colors of the crane and their reflections in the water, blending perfectly with the serene atmosphere of the blue hour over the city. A moment that truly shows the beauty of the night.

AUTUMN COLORS
Once again, a mountain bike tour took me through mystically dense forests that were finally showing their autumnal colors. The distant babbling of a brook then led me on foot through thick foliage until I discovered a glade near a smal waterfall, whose mystical appearance was further emphasized by a lot of these fascinating mushrooms. Definitely a place to linger 🍄‍🟫🌲

WONDERFUL DAYS IN MY SECOND HOME
Between the San Pellegrino and the Valles, high above Falcade at just over 2100m, lies the beautiful Cavia Lake. Monte Civetta is majestically reflected on its surface. The area around the lake is not only known for its excellent hiking trails, but also as an outstanding winter sports area. In fact, I learned to ski up here season after season as a child. I’m always drawn back here, where there are beautiful lakes, impressive waterfalls and breathtaking mountain ranges. And let’s not forget the excellent local cuisine, with dumplings, polenta, pastim and much more.

BEAUTY ON THE FOREST FLOOR
„Into the woods, cearefully step. This is their home and you are a guest“. How fitting this song is. In fact, you should keep your eyes open in the forest, because so many delicate creatures are at home here. Like this beautiful but delicate fly agaric, which seems to be enjoying the last rays of sunshine of the day.
But it’s worth keeping your eyes open anyway, because if you don’t, you’ll miss out on so much.

FLORA MEETS FAUNA
Two seemingly different life forms, yet entirely interdependent. The way we interact with them reflects our own relationship with the environment around us. To grasp the bigger picture, we must first observe and understand the details. I am deeply convinced of this.

IS SPRING ALREADY HERE?
I had a strong urge to get moving today. After a long morning walk through the woods, I treated myself to a mountain bike ride in the afternoon. First through the fields, then through a beautiful coniferous forest and along a river. Of course, I didn’t miss the opportunity to look for the first signs of spring and found what I was looking for.

Stormy sea, stormy sky. Two such mystical components merge on the distant horizon. What an amazing moment.

It may be a little bit paradoxical, but although I am very fascinated by trains and their technology, I would never use public transportation.
Even if it offers many advantages, I prefer to enjoy the privacy of my car.

So for me, station visits always end on the platform, never on the train 😉

You know that feeling when your day doesn't really start until the evening?
