Quand j’ai entendu le band jouer « Are you that somebody? » de Aaliyah, je me suis demandé: qu’est-ce que ça donnerait si elle l’avait écrit pour MTL?

Ma sistah on the mic @meryemsaci à chanter le premier verse et j’me suis inspiré de ça en traduisant presque mot pour mot « on the fly » avec un mélange de français, de créole et d’anglais (the usual MTL spices)

La beauté des soirées @lecypherx c’est qu’on ne sait jamais à quoi s’attendre. Anything can happen. You just have to roll with the punches and freestyle your way out.

Ps: j’ai mon rendez-vous chez l’orthophoniste dans deux semaines. Bientôt je vais arrêter de vous casser les oreilles avec ma voix de craie sur le tableau.🤣 taken in O Patro Vys by @ginodeca

Il est quelque fois nécessaire d’être agressif. Certains pour comprendre, ont besoin d’être corrigé. Qu’on leur donne une leçon. Une bonne Bastonnade!

C’est pour cette raison que l’album s’appelle « Bâton » et la chanson du même titre le démontre. Le projet est né d’un désir de se défouler et d’utiliser le rap comme médium.
