The first pic is from the first day I ever met Dominic. He sniffed my neck, jumped in my lap, and said “You smell dood 👍🏾”😂. We been bonding and building ever since. Never met a kid with more personality, smart, caring, funny, and I could keep going on and on.

As we round year 3, I can’t help but think about our beginning.

The first dates.
The parties we showed up to together.
The random trips.
The laughs.
The start of the inside jokes we still tell today.

Beginnings are naturally fun and exciting. Everything is new. Everything feels effortless.

But when the “beginning phase” fades, that’s when love gets real.

That’s when you choose each other.
That’s when you build.
That’s when you learn how to fight for unity instead of being right.
That’s when the inside jokes carry history, not just humor.

Three years in, and I love you more intentionally than I did at the start. Not because the butterflies disappeared but because commitment and intentionality deepened them.

Still choosing you.
Still building with you.
Still grateful we said yes.

2025 Owes me Nothing…

There were some tough times, but the good outweighed the bad. I’m grateful for it all and know what is sowed in faithfulness will reap a good harvest in due time. 2025 was a year of pruning and transition, 2026 will be a year of new starts and growth.

Can’t believe you’re 9!!!

Even more so I can’t believe that I get to be your daddy. You are smart, pure hearted, funny, loving, beautiful, brave, creative and so much more! I love you so much and pray today you feel and receive all the love we have for you.

The older I get….
1. The more grateful I am for little things.
2. The more I value time.
3. The more I value experiences.
4. My tolerance for complaining gets lower
5. Hugs/Dap ups mean more/ I appreciate my people more.
