C8 direct clutch failure. They come apart internally and wear against the case and or fluid pipes. Always check your clutch to fluid pipe clearance anytime a main valve body is being replaced. #c8 #corvettesofinstagram #c8corvette #corvettefamily #corvettenation taken in Paramus Chevrolet by @gio93z

All the talk about when to service your c8 transmission. When to replace the fluid. When to replace the external filter. All the talk about GM voiding your powertrain warranty if your transmission isn’t serviced at the correct interval. It’s all bullshit. This vehicle had direct clutch failure. ZERO proof or documentation of transmission service records required. This is not the first transmission repair without required service documentation and it won’t be the last. Again, “service the vehicle because you want to; not because you have to”. #gm #c8 #c8corvette #corvettesofinstagram taken in Paramus Chevrolet by @gio93z

As I’ve stated multiple times, GM will warranty anything. This is a Turo rental car that locked the motor while driving. Cylinder 4 rod bearing spun and locked the engine. The LT2 holds 7.5 quarts of oil. I removed 3 quarts from this abused Corvette. New engine, under warranty. No questions asked by GM. Also, the client was pushing to have the car done by the weekend because “it needed to be rented out”. GM slogan should be “service your vehicle because you want to; not because you have to”. Assholes. #gm #lt2 #c8 #corvettesofinstagram #c8corvette taken in Paramus Chevrolet by @gio93z
