WORLD CHAMPION 🏆

Teia Doyle. Jesolo, Italy. Top of the world.

She trained through early mornings, long sessions, and miles on the road to get there, then stepped out at the WAKO World Championships and took the gold.

She didn’t wait for permission, and she didn’t take a step back. She walked out on the biggest stage there is, wearing GB on her back, and owned every second of it.

To every girl in a club tonight, lacing up her gloves and wondering how far she can go: this is how far. All the way.

🇮🇹🌎 WAKO Youth World Championships — WHAT. A. WEEK. 🥊

3️⃣ NEW WORLD CHAMPIONS from our club! 🏆 And a whole host of well-earned podium finishes.
Plus Team GB topped the medal table! 🇬🇧🏆

It’s been an absolute privilege to coach alongside the best GB coaches, I want to thank them all for looking after & guiding my guys especially Head Coach @seanveira and, most importantly, to be part of such an amazing team.

Every fighter gave everything. The work, sacrifices, emotions, wins and losses have been huge — the standard of youth kickboxing at world level is seriously high!

I couldn’t be prouder of every single fighter who represented GB. ❤️🤍💙

A massive shoutout to our parents too — the support from the stands all week has been unbelievable! 🙌

From a tiny little dragon 🐉 who walked into our gym years ago to WORLD CHAMPION for her age and weight! 🌎🥇

Watching all her hard work come together on the biggest stage was incredible. We couldn’t be prouder. 💙

Joined us 2–3 years ago with a great skill set and has absolutely transformed himself since.

Travelling 4–5 times a week from Yeovil to Bristol, driven by nothing but the desire to improve.

To see him achieve one of his many goals in this sport was seriously special. This is just the beginning. 💙🥇

This one was emotional.

After coming so close so many times — and losing two finals earlier in the tournament — Teia dug unbelievably deep.

In the dying seconds of a war with her Spanish opponent, she showed heart, skill, strength and pure determination to become JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPION. 🇬🇧🥇

The celebrations at that final bell are something I’ll never forget.

Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Proud of our 3 World Champions.
Proud of every fighter.
Proud of our parents.

CAPTAIN. FIGHTER OF THE DAY. WORLD CHAMPION 🌍🏆

What a World Championships for Teia.

Today, our Team EPiC captain faced Spain in the Kick Light final and finished an extraordinary week exactly where she wanted to be.

On top of the world 🥇🇬🇧

Teia is your WAKO Kick Light World Champion.

She also leaves the individual competition with two World Championship silver medals in Light Contact and Point Fighting, after competing across all three disciplines at the very highest level.

But this week has been about so much more than medals.

We’ve watched Teia fight, lead, support her teammates and represent everything we want an EPiC athlete to be. She was named Fighter of the Day along the way, and today she added the biggest title of all.

World Champion.

What a fighter. What a captain. What an example to every young athlete coming through our club.

WORLD CHAMPION 🌍🏆

What a way for Ollie to finish an incredible week.

Today he stepped onto the mat against Bosnia with a World Championship title on the line and came away with GOLD.

Ollie is your WAKO Kick Light World Champion🥇🇬🇧

We’ve watched him fight his way through this week across three disciplines, taking on some of the best young fighters in the world and delivering performance after performance when it mattered.

A World Championship gold in Kick Light, silver in Light Contact and bronze in Point Fighting.

Three disciplines. Three World Championship medals. And that top step of the podium.

Behind those medals are all the hours in the gym, the rounds, the sacrifices, the people in his corner and the work that nobody sees.

Today, Ollie got his moment.

Three World Champions and apparently we’ve already started planning the victory tour. 🎤🚗🏆

Teia and Ollie Beans are in the back with their new titles. Coach @gio_epic21 has taken the lead vocals up front, and I’ve somehow ended up in the car despite having absolutely no musical ability.

After the week we’ve had, I think we’ve earned a slightly ridiculous celebration. Team EPiC’s debut single is dropping never. 🖤💛😂 by @gio_epic21

ONE. FINAL. PUSH 🖤💛🇬🇧

Another huge day on the World Championship stage and Team EPiC will go into the final day with five more chances to become World Champions.

🥊 Anya beat Czechia in her Kick Light semi-final and is through to tomorrow’s final.

🥊 Indi beat Poland in Kick Light to book her place in the final.

🥊 Ollie beat Hungary in Kick Light and will fight for gold tomorrow.

🥊 Teia had another incredible day, beating Spain in Light Contact and Turkey in Kick Light to reach TWO finals. And if that wasn’t enough, she was named Fighter of the Day 💛🖤

Alongside those five finals, today brought four World Championship silver medals for Anya in Light Contact and Point Fighting, Ollie in Light Contact and Teia in Point Fighting.

And three bronzes for Ollie in Point Fighting, Mollie in Light Contact and Sean in Kick Light.

So, with North already crowned World Champion, Team EPiC has one gold, four silvers and three bronzes secured, with five more shots at gold tomorrow.

Just take that in for a moment.

Whatever happens tomorrow, this team has already given us so much to be proud of.

But we’re not done yet.

Rest. Reset. One final push.

What. A. Day!

14 fights. 12 wins. One World Champion. Four more places in World Championship finals secured. And seven semi-finals still to come tomorrow.

This EPiC team just keeps delivering on the world stage.

🏆 North beat Poland to become WAKO WORLD CHAMPION.

🥊 Anya beat Sweden in Light Contact and Czechia in Point Fighting to reach TWO World Championship finals. She also beat Sweden in Kick Light and fights again in tomorrow’s semi-final.

🥊 Ollie beat Greece in Light Contact to book his place in the final, before beating Poland in Kick Light to reach another semi-final.

🥊 Teia beat Hungary in Point Fighting to reach the final, then added wins over Turkey in Light Contact and Poland in Kick Light to secure two more semi-finals tomorrow.

🥊 Mollie beat Bulgaria in Light Contact to reach the semi-final.

🥊 Indi beat India in Kick Light to reach the semi-final.

🥊 Sean beat Germany in Kick Light to reach the semi-final.

And a special mention for Seb, who leaves these Championships after three outstanding performances. His quarter-final against Croatia was incredibly close, but what he has shown both on and off the mat this week has made us immensely proud. Remember the name 🖤💛

One club from the South West of England, standing alongside the very best from 76 nations.

When you see results like these written down, it’s easy to forget just how difficult they are to achieve. Nothing about this is normal. Every fight is at world level. Every round has been earned through months and years of work.

Tonight we celebrate North, our finalists, our semi-finalists and every member of this team.

Tomorrow, there’s more to come.

OUR FIRST WORLD CHAMPION OF THE CHAMPIONSHIPS! 🌍🥇

North Little has done it.

After a huge performance against Poland 🇵🇱 today, North has taken the top spot and become WAKO World Champion.

What a moment.

All the training, all the rounds, all the work that happens when nobody is watching, leading to this. Standing on the World Championship stage, representing Great Britain and coming away with GOLD 🇬🇧🥇

And what a moment for the whole EPiC team out there. Our first World Champion of these Championships, with plenty more still to fight for.

🌍 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS: DAY TWO UPDATE 🌍

Another five brilliant wins for Team EPiC on day two of the World Championships!

🥊 Fillip defeated South Africa in Light Contact
🥊 Ollie defeated Czech Republic in Light Contact
🥊 Teia defeated Norway in Point Fighting
🥊 Ollie made it two wins today, defeating Czech Republic in Point Fighting
🥊 Indi defeated Greece in Kick Light

The standard at this level is incredible, and every round gets tougher as the competition progresses. Our fighters continue to show exactly why they belong on the world stage.

We still have so many athletes competing across multiple disciplines, with three huge days of action remaining. There is plenty more to come from this special group.

Time to reset, bring that day-one energy and go again tomorrow.
