Shortly I'll be back in that gorgeous part of the world that is south America, and those shots from the archive remind me of the first steps taken in the colourful Colombia.

Iceland was epic (once again). Coming back five years later, I realised that I would explore this island endless times, despite the schizophrenic weather ( that prevented us seeing the total eclipse) and the dangerous overtourism affecting some of the more popular spots of the south.

Lapland, Finland 🇫🇮

That night when we spotted aurora coming out from a chimney.
In the end, this shot took a long time waiting under -25 °C, but it was worth it.

Shot on Canon EOS 750D, 2022

One year of this amateur travel photography space: repost of some of my favourite shots and places shared so far.
It's just one year since I approached this burning passion of travel a little bit more seriously, and I found and spoke with incredibly talented and inspiring people, some of them met personally.
Their deep commitment in their job taught me a lot, the distance between a simple passion and a hard job, how far I am to work in it (who knows), coming from a completely different professional world, but feeling the same love I've seen in their eyes and in their shots let me be part of fantastic experiences and visit amazing corners of this planet that once were only in my remotest childhood dreams.

Portrait of a good man.
This man showed me around the city of Agra riding his tuk tuk. So proud of his job and his knowledge about the hidden gems of the city, he treasured a notebook with several signatures of his passengers, which he excitedly showed me.
We agreed to spend the day after again together , but I was forced to change the plan and move away by car, having no chance to inform him about it. I'll never forget his disappointment, and how sad I felt when he was waiting for me and I betrayed the agreement, so I prefer to remember him in the moment he posed for a portrait.

Shot on Canon EOS 750D, 2023.

Iceland deserved a horizontal carousel. Scrolling those memories I find myself still shocked about how such an amount of beauty is located in a single Island.

È stato bellissimo ammirare questi cuccioli per un paio d'ore, litigare per un pezzo di carne fresca di giraffa e per affermare la loro posizione nel pride.
Gli occhi azzurri della femmina mi hanno letteralmente ipnotizzato.

How amazing it has been to stare for a couple of hours at these cubs, fighting for a piece of fresh giraffe meat and to affirm their social position in the pride.
The blue-eyed female literally hypnotized me.

Shot on Canon EOS 6D Mark II, 2025.

That day was literally impossible to shoot properly, the weather was terrible, wind and rain continuously bothering me and my gear; but do some places look even better in terrible weather conditions?
