God is working on me and in me

My Faith

God has been there every step of the way. I kept ignoring his calling. Made excuse after excuse. Did what I thought I should do instead of asking what should I do. Relying on myself was my down fall of my marriage and my walk with Christ. You see this is one of the many tricks of the devil. He wants us to think we need to only trust ourselves and our thoughts. When actually the flesh the body the mind is weak. All our thoughts are not good All our thoughts are not our thoughts. God is the truth and like a good daddy he gives us the ways to defeat the enemy in his word. And that’s the only way. Another trick of the enemy is to make you think you’re not in a spiritual or physical battle. Get you just comfortable enough to keep you from wanting more but trapped in his story that you’re not in a fight. Because the enemy knows when you’re in warrior mode you are dangerous! You wake up looking for what’s good and evil and you rebuke the evil and run after what’s good. For a long time I didn’t know how bad things were until the divorce and everything came to a hault. I had to look myself in the mirror for a long time went 100s of walks and god met me there. He told me that number one he loves me and he wants more for me. Number two was that I had to let it go so that healing can begin for me and her. We held in so much for so long wanting to make it work so we were a ticking time bomb. Luckily god got to my alexis first & gave her the strength to go through with what needed to be done. I’m not so grateful for everything the good the bad the ugly I’ve learned so much and I gained a faith with god that is tough to break and is getting stronger everyday. So I say all this to tell you keep going, look at the past and find where god was trying to lead you away from danger with his word and let go of control give it all to god and put the work in to make yourself into the person god always made you to be and be fruitful! by @giomastro7
