🤯WORLD’S FIRST QUADRUPLE BACKFLIP ON SKATES!❤️
I’ve been working on this trick for 5 years, it was my goal from the very beginning.
I spent everything I had, dig into a hillside, and built one of the biggest ramps in the world just to make it possible. I still remember the very first prototype, built with my insurance money and two years of factory work… two years in which I survived on pasta with ragù just to cover the construction costs.
It took countless sacrifices, but today it’s real.
I still can’t believe it: it was just me, my madness, and a dream… write a small piece of history

Some paths are already there. Others, you have to build yourself.

Giovanni grew up without skateparks, coaches or the proper facilities to learn. So he built his own ramps and turned every challenge into an opportunity to grow.

Today, that journey has become his mission: giving the next generation the guidance, the space and the confidence to progress faster and safer than he ever could.

Because the greatest legacy isn’t how far you’ve come, it’s how far you help others go.

Grateful for these days, for every moment and for all the incredible people I’m lucky to have around me.

PETERLAND è lo spazio dove i ragazzi scoprono capacità che negli sport tradizionali spesso restano nascoste.
Qui lo sport non si pratica solo: si impara davvero a 360 gradi.
Freestyle, coordinazione, forza, controllo del corpo e uso della mente.
I ragazzi si allenano, sperimentano e sviluppano abilità che negli sport tradizionali non vengono allenate allo stesso modo.
È un ambiente dinamico dove ognuno può trovare il proprio spazio, migliorare come atleta e crescere anche come persona.
L’area è aperta a tutte le età e a tutti i livelli, con discipline che vanno dal pattinaggio alla BMX, dallo skate al monopattino, fino al parkour o semplicemente per chi volesse migliorare le proprie abilità divertendosi.
Siamo attivi con lezioni private, corsi di gruppo, camp di allenamento e centri estivi.

Finally, the most equipped freestyle area in Italy🇮🇹 is no longer a dream..it’s real😍
My name is Giovanni Peterle, professional athlete and head of the sports academy at Peterland Park in Borgo Valbelluna (BL)
This project was born from a simple mission: using sport as an educational tool, helping young people grow mentally as well as physically.
This is just the beginning, the start of a journey that will give many action sports the space, visibility and quality structures they deserve.🤝
I want to show that in Italy we can build serious, dedicated environments for these disciplines, and become a real point of reference.🌏
Seeing all this taking shape gives me an incredible sense of pride… even more than being an athlete doing crazy things on skates and other things.😈

I have never considered myself a particularly talented person, but I’ve always been obsessed with the idea of feeling proud of myself on the day I leave this world, and of giving my all to express myself through my ideas, no matter what I had to do to achieve them.
The truth is, most of the time, I failed. And that’s exactly where the difference is made: in continuing, even when it seems impossible.
I dedicated years to this project, coming to the brink of losing hope. The obsession was so strong that it led me to neglect relationships, experiences, and priorities. But from all of this, I learned a valuable lesson: if you truly want something important, you must be willing to give up something or everything.
I know it may sound like just another motivational quote, but it isn’t. Because when you live it on your own skin, you realize just how true it is. And I wish more people could experience this, not only by reading about it… but by living it.
I hope this message can be an inspiration to someone.
Fun fact: I know it may sound absurd, but during the last month of attempts I thought more than once about writing a will, in case things didn’t turn out the right way. But, out of superstition, I never did. by @giovanni_peterle
