Hi there, I am the person behind the screen of this profile @giphted_artscape . Just wanted to share a bit about myself and why I love art so much with you. My name is Ivana Wong and I'm 18 years of age. I identify as a Seventh-Day Adventist young lady who loves the Lord. Ambitious is one word that describes me and according to my friends and family I'm quite friendly. I've always had a strong passion for singing, art and the culture of beautification. My ambitions have been materializing into great success over the years and by the grace of God, I'm reaching places I never thought I'd be. My way of escaping life’s challenges lies within one brush. The way the soft bristles of the brush glides across the surface of the canvas, the way my hand holds tight to the shaft of the brush as my wrist dances along with it made me realize that there was more to painting than the application of paint on canvas. Drawing was never one of my favourite art forms but at an early age I realized that it was yet another gift of mine. Over the years I grew to love it and now I enjoy doing portraits of persons. Painting and drawing became therapeutic for me in difficult times due to the fact that I enter my own little zone and forget about world for a few hours. At one point, this was the only reason I did art but then I studied art at the CSEC level and I'm currently doing art pieces to sell so that I can raise funds to help me pay to achieve my Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing at USC. I hope you enjoyed reading about me and perhaps some day I'd get to know you all as well. Love from Giphted Artscape❤ #art #artbusiness #painting #drawing #portrait by @giphted_artscape

Acrylic on canvas 16" x 20". Frame by @wongswood and myself. This non-representational portrait painting was so interesting to do. I took a while to complete it but when I stated seeing progress I got so excited about this piece. These are some progression pics and me just before I delivered to my costemer❤. She was so happy about the outcome!😊 #portraitpainting #paint #acrylic #ilovewhatido #canvas #like #comment #share #art by @giphted_artscape
