GRWM: Yaoi church edition. In light of what is happening, I need some time to write and film more meaningful content. Thank you for your patience and support in the meantime, my wayward kittens! Ya’men!

🐉 Happy Birthday Malleus Draconia! Enjoy the future king of Briar Valley being unhinged for about 30 seconds. Maybe he can be more present at Night Raven College and as Diasomnia’s Dorm leader this year (every year seems to feel the same..hmmm…)

The cosplans left the group chat, Kupo!✨

While Saturday might have been our collective most busy day, I was so pleased to make my vision for Moogle maids come to life! This is one of my favorite costumes I’ve made in recent memory and by far my cleanest work to date and I couldn’t have asked for a better time than to have cosplayed with my ALA roomies!

Thank you @theemmaporium for approaching us for a Final Fantasy creature group shot. Your Chocobo is absolutely stunning.

Happy TWST Anime Day! Can you believe we’ve been waiting for this day for 5 years? 😭🎉 Heartslabyul and everybody including Yuu were SO endearing! Scream to us about your first episode thoughts!!!!

We’re so glad we got to pull together a full Heartslabyul Blazing Jewels group! With the recent Blazing Jewels concert and TWST anime, it seemed like the perfect time to show off our Heartslabyul group!

Long time no talk!

I know I’ve been more active on stories, but I wanted to give a rundown of my life these past few months.

In February, I helped host my first cupsleeve under the handle @socalwondersleeves ! @kalgado , @lilysprouts.cos , @stripedalpaca , and our fearless Project Manager @magiconautopilot all did a tremendous amount of work to make it happen! I appreciate everyone who helped kick things off the ground, from our featured artists to volunteers like @bretty.smooth and @vulcansmoulder

We also held an impromptu Sk8 the Infinity OVA watch party! Thank you @bretty.smooth @lilysprouts.cos @magiconautopilot and @vulcansmoulder for making such a beautiful night!

March, things became… more murky. My father suffered a second stroke— more severe than his first in 2020– and was in ICU for some time. Almost daily hospital visits and work-from-hospital/home became a reality for my family and I. I could barely remember to do proper care for myself, and became radio silent for many.

Thank you to everyone who sent get well messages and asked me what I needed. I wish I could have offered more guidance on how I needed help. I am still trying to find time to respond to everyone.

March also held the Sailor Moon Super Live with @jillybellys and @mommasammu ! A quick trip to Portland, OR really helped boost my spirits from what had happened not even a month prior.

April has been much the same as March, with my father transferring to a rehabilitation facility then home just before my brother’s birthday. My brother’s birthday was one of the first moments of familial normalcy in a long time. I also volunteered at @yuumorisleeves ‘s event at Almond Haus, visited Star Wars Nite with @kayteesabeach and @rybruz , and finalizing the Fellow Honest cupsleeve on May 4th.

I know there are great things in the future, like the @butlercafev during Fanime (which, hello, going to Fanime again!), Anime Expo, and seeing so many of you all so soon. Each day gets easier, and I’ve been letting myself ask for help more often.

If you made it this far, thank you for reading! And uh. Well. Maybe I’ll give you a little hug. Or a big hug. Whatever size hug as long as you ask nicely~ by @giraffrika
