Standing Free took three years to create. None of it would exist without your support, thank you 💙💛
We are resilient together. And now, more than ever, we must remain united. We’ve seen what’s possible when people stand free: even the greatest dictators can fall. Over the next few weeks and months Standing Free will be screening across Canada, I hope I can connect with you at a screening! by @girasolpost

Wow what a wild summer it’s been, and we’re not even halfway through!
From intense shoots and long hours to incredible mixes and sleepless nights, it’s been a whirlwind. First, a huge congratulations to the teams at @dtfthefilm @itsjessmcleod @erinpurghart @samkrochmal and @jvfilmco on their well-deserved wins at the @leoawardsbc!
Now that the dust has settled, we’re incredibly grateful for our own nominations and beyond excited for what’s ahead. by @girasolpost

a shoutout to our first and best (kidding, no favoritism here) associates at Girasol!

Angus and Carlos are fellow sound designers with plenty of projects under their belt, with Carlos specializing more than anything in Location Sound, and Angus enjoying Sound Design and Mixing.

both with backgrounds as musicians, their unique sensibilities elevate any project they work on.

check out more about them on their profiles and our website!

Better late than never to post about this year's Crazy 8s!

These projects were a joy to work on, and we're proud to have associates with credits on five out of the six finalists 🙌

shoutout to...

@enchilaudas and @camila.emm for their dialogue editing and sound design work on "The Reveal" and "W7éyle", with backgrounds editing magic by @dianalumsound and foley assistance from @bycarlosr and @sergiolozano666. Carlos also did location sound for "W7éyle"!

@majo.gmz04 for her dialogue editing, foley and sound design work on "Our Monsters"!

@andresv.mp3 for his roles as sound mixer and boom op for "Headcase" and dialogue editor for "My Mother, The Zombie"!

go check out all these cool people and projects 🌻

This year was a whirlwind from start to finish, but we couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve accomplished, or more excited for what is to come.

We wanted to share a few snippets from the different projects we’ve participated on during 2024. From long days on set to endless editing and mixing sessions, we’ve loved every second.

Huge thanks to everyone who we’ve been lucky enough to collaborate with this year. It’s because of you that we get to keep doing this.

Feel free to reach out for inquiries for next year! We’re looking forward to an amazing 2025.
