I think we pretty much lived at the ballpark(s) in September. I wanted to soak in as much baseball as I possibly could since I knew the tigers weren't going to make the post season. We attended two of the last three hens games and got to see Jack Flarety rehab pitch. Mud hens had affiliate night and paws signed my ball, I went to the Fulton county fair as is tradition. Lots of gorgeous sunsets, I met Andy Dirks at a tigers game and got him to sign my ball, tigers had a Gilmore girl day, Matt got us tickets in priority club not once, but twice and also twice in the champions club, which was super cool. Finally we said goodbye to Justin Verlander and I cried my eyes out. Seeing his little girl run out to get him...it was special. I've said it a million times and I'll say it again. Baseball has just become a part of me and our household over the past year and a half. In a crazy world it's nice to find calm and stillness in something you love and believe in. I'm so sad baseball season is almost over. This weekend Matt surprised me with tickets for priority club at Comerica Park. I was so shocked when we walked in the priority club entrance that it took me till we got to our seats for it to all sink in then the tears flowed. The free food and drinks in the club were fantastic. I took so many photos they wouldn't all fit in the reel. I can't even begin to explain how much I absolutely love baseball and Matt. We have had so many good seats around the stadium this summer. I'm attending three more games at Comerica and Matt two. August recap. Many walks around Comerica, fifth third field, and our neighborhood. Matt and I started a new tradition where we walk around the stadium before each game. My favorite artist started making pottery so of course I had to support her, we visited Mama duck, mud hens games, many sunset walks, tigers games....I caught a foul ball at a tigers game that Zach Mckinstry fouled off...still riding that high. I have since had it signed by many of my favorite tigers broadcasters one of them being a former tiger. We renewed our hens season tickets for next summer. I took myself to Comerica for a weds afternoon game against the rays....the game was awful for the tigers, but I still had fun, met a broadcaster I like and had a fantastic seat. We got to see Skub pitch his first time back at Comerica with the dodgers and I'm still reeling over seeing him in dodger blue. Matt, Louie and Hazel had a meeting and decided summer should stay forever. I have been in my feels the summer has gone by so fast and I'm not ready for it or baseball to end. I would of stayed forever in London if I could have. I can't describe it, but the first time I visited in 2012 it just felt so familiar, like I had been there before and it felt like home. Being able to visit with Matt was even better than being there years prior. One day we'll go back. July recap. So much baseball ⚾ The hens decided to start winning again, sunsets galore, got a new to us Honda crv hybrid, started junk journaling, said goodbye to the Pathfinder 😭, rode the Ferris wheel at Comerica, ripped packs at the hens and tigers games....pulled a Riley greene card at Comerica, saw Skub and Mize in their final starts for the tigers 😭, went to the tigers vs royals game for Michelle's birthday....royals won 🙄, finally decided what jersey and player I wanted on the back. While I was thinking we would likely trade Skub I had no idea Mize would go too. My heart was not ready for my first trade deadline. #july #tigers #baseball #mudhens by @girldreamer02

Now that my brain has recovered from the historic heat wave in London let's recap June shall we? Started the month out in Malibu/Santa Monica with Lilli and Mandie. Had a grilled cheese at in &out (notably first in and out), put my feet in the Pacific ocean and almost got a migraine because it was so cold not sure how all the surfers were out there. We said see ya later to Lilli, Matt surprised me with Darius Rucker tickets, I chopped my hair, watched Verlander and Jansen rehab at the mud hens and was likely the last time Verlander will pitch before retirement since he's injured again. Flew across the pond to return to London and was in jellycat heaven, visited Harrods and didn't get lost this time, Elmer made friends, minded the gap....iykyk. Visited Shakespeares Globe Theater, Rode the London eye with the fam, did the fish and chips experience at Selfridges, returned to Westminster Abbey and loved it more than the first time, got to be in the room where it happens....in freaking London!!! And last but not least added another tattoo to my collection. Started off Maycember with a trip to lakeside to see Kaelee and Dalton in their solo and ensamble contest and shared a delicious lunch with Matt and Lilli. Some killer sunsets this month, a trip to Comerica for Paws birthday party and a tigers win (one of very few in May. Also Elmer's first trip to Comerica) Celebrated Tatum and scarletts birthday, watched baseball while watching baseball, took Lilli to Dave and busters for the first time...we had an absolute blast! Attended lilli's graduation, made a few cute dishes at ceramics, Elmer , kaelee, Lilli Matt and myself went to a hens game and they lost but the fireworks were great, did a unboxing of the lububu, Elmer and I traveled to La for five days with Mandie and Lilli. #tacos #musiclover #baseballseason #detroittigers #mudhens taken in Comerica Park by @girldreamer02

April ushered in a bit warmer weather (let's be real I live in NW Ohio it was still chilly at times) , all of our spring flowers popped up to say hello, lots of pottery and we made candles at ceramics so that was fun. I discovered dot by letter and added it to my hobby list, Louie enjoyed keeping tabs on the neighborhood, we had a zoom meeting about London, I finally got well enough to go see my mud hens play. Elmer got to go to the mud hens for the first time he wasn't good at keeping score.
