My latest entry for Spoonflower’s Added Texture Design Challenge is here! 🌿✨

For this one, I took inspiration from traditional flocked wallpaper, but wanted to give it a more modern, minimal feel.

I created a simple leaf motif with a soft, plush, velvety texture, contrasted against a subtle woven background. I love the way the two textures play off each other, adding a little depth and interest to an otherwise simple design.

It was a fun challenge to experiment with creating the illusion of texture in a digital print!

Voting opens Thursday at 10 am EST, so if you like my design, I’d love your vote! 💚

Nothing like a last-minute creative sprint! 🍂✨

My Golden Coil @golden.coil entry for the Limited Edition Fall Launch was definitely a race against the clock!

I had an idea for a chevron pattern, found a quick tutorial to help me figure out how to create it, and a couple of hours later, I had a finished design! Just in time to enter.

Sometimes I spend days working on a pattern, tweaking every little detail, and other times things just come together. I love that about the creative process. And I always love learning a new technique along the way!

Here’s to last-minute inspiration and getting things done just under the wire! 🍁

My latest entry for Spoonflower’s Hydrangea Challenge 💜

I went with a loose, trailing pattern for this one, combining soft watercolour with pencil details against a soothing aqua background. I wanted it to feel relaxed, delicate, and a little imperfect.

Hydrangeas were my grandma’s favourite flower, so creating this design also felt like a lovely little way to remember her. 💜

Voting opens today, so if you like my design, I’d love your vote!

My latest entry for Spoonflower’s Merry Maximalist challenge is here! 🎁✨

I decided to keep the layout simple and let the colours do the talking with a cheerful grid of beautifully wrapped presents. I had so much fun playing with festive patterns and a bright holiday colour palette to create something that feels joyful and full of Christmas spirit.

I think this print would be perfect for holiday home décor, gift wrap, stockings, tree skirts, quilts, or any festive sewing project.

Voting opens on Thursday, so if you like my design, I’d love your support! 🎄💛

My entry for Spoonflower’s latest challenge, Herbarium Botanicals, is here! 🌵🌿

I decided to take a slightly different direction for this one and create a print featuring succulents instead of traditional botanicals. I combined watercolor, layered textures, and a little distressing to give it the look of an aged herbarium page with subtle tea-stained edges.

This was such a fun design to create, and I’m really happy with how it came together. Sometimes it’s nice to step outside your comfort zone and see where an idea takes you.

Week 3 of #EuroSummerSketchClub2026 is here! ☀️💙

This week’s prompt was Tile Streets, and I wanted to keep the same Mediterranean-inspired colour palette I’ve been using throughout the challenge. I imagined weathered, sunwashed tiles that have been warmed by years of sunshine, featuring simple suns and medallion motifs.

I also had the chance to play with my new Aqua Studio brushes from @truegrittexturesupply and they were perfect for creating that aged, textured look.

I’m really enjoying this challenge. It’s such a fun excuse to experiment with new brushes, techniques, and ideas while seeing everyone’s unique interpretations of the prompts.

A big thank you to the hosts for organizing another fantastic challenge. I’ve loved following along and seeing all of your beautiful designs! 💛

Week #2 of the #eurosummersketchclub2026 and I went with the prompt Fisherman Boats. I kept the same palette as last week’s design and used the same simple style. I think I’ll make a mini collection!

Not sure which colourway I should enter for the Opulent Halloween challenge. I’ve seen some amazing designs out there that are super detailed and rich, but I went pretty minimal! I used the new Aqua Studio brushes from @truegrittexturesupply and really love how they work!

Which colourway should I enter? Let me know in the comments! 👇

Another fun summer challenge has begun! ☀️🇮🇹 I’m joining #EuroSummerSketchClub2026, and this week’s prompt was Vespa Days.

I couldn’t resist illustrating this playful, cartoon-inspired Vespa print. I kept it simple with a fun polka dot background and used Charly Clements’ Yummy Textures Brush Pack to add a little depth and character.

Sometimes the simplest designs are the most satisfying. This one came together quickly, but I genuinely love how it turned out. It’s colourful, cheerful, and makes me want to book a one-way ticket to Italy! 🛵🍋

Who’s dreaming of a European summer? ☀️

I wasn’t able to participate in the first two weeks of #juneinbloom2026, because I was on vacation, but couldn’t miss this week’s prompt Fashion & Flowers. I drew these colourful floral bikinis and had so much fun doing it! Thanks to the organizers @theydrawandgarden & @illustratorscircle by @girlfriday_designs

I always come up with so many colourway options when I create a design! Choosing which one to submit for a @spoonflower challenge is the hardest thing for me (this time I chose the first colour). It’s probably my Libra trait to be indecisive. Who else struggles with choosing a colour?
