I hosted my first ever girlsgothroughit event. girlsgothroughit is a community space for women with chronic illnesses so they are able to connect and form new friendships through our community events launching in 2027. after just 3 months of launching, I hosted my my first influencer event to help bring attention to the community whilst also getting honest feedback on what we can do to improve so we have the smoother launch next year. The day consisted of smiles, reformer Pilates, treats, and amazing goodies bags! Just want to take a moment to say thank you to all the brands and business that made today possible @justmylook @bbare.co @moonshineprints @theacaigrove @henrietta.bakes @studio.sundayco @reformer_thefitcollective @thcleangirlguide @freesoul

I have never read a more tone deaf article in my life…

I was never going to put my opinions of this article on social media because in my own personal life I’ve found it quite disturbing, however according to @telegraph description of a ‘sickfluncer’… I pretty much am the definition. Sharing your story, your illness, your REALITY online ISN’T glamourising or influencing others to become chronically ill/disabled because quite frankly… NO ONE CHOOSES THIS LIFE. I am truly disappointed as I feel this is such a disservice to the chronically ill/disabled community, and this is NOT what girlsgothroughit stands for.
